Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will never buy anything "Insignia," again! Picture quality is good when the TV is on in not rebooting itself. Sound is pretty good some of the time. Too frequently this TV, after 1st turning on, will sound like a foghorn. When it does, the remote control will not turn it off and on, it has to be unplugged then plugged back in. It's always needing to be powered off at the outlet because of issues with the picture freezing or sound acting up. Only one HDMI input has audio return channel, so if you want to connect, say, a cable box and a Blu-ray player you are going to need an AV receiver, a sound bar with a couple of HDMI inputs are HDMI switcher of some kind. All of Best Buy's brand of insignia products are less expensive for a reason, they are junk. I'll never buy another one.

Great tv remote is terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had my tv about a year now and the only problem I have is the remote volume buttons stick. At first it was great remote worked well. But about 6 months of use it’s sometimes the buttons become useable again the rest of the buttons work fine. Contacted bestbuy and I guess they don’t sell a replacement remote.

Excellent Smart TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this last year for the same price of $199. Great bedroom TV. I Have a 55in Hisense 4k Smart TV in the living room and I wish it had the Roku interface that this one does. With the 8.0 roku interface you get a TV guide now. The speakers are better than most. I really can't find anything I dont like about it other than the processor could be faster. My only reccomendation is too spend a little more money and get a 4k version.

Excellent TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really love this TV. Very easy to use. The Roku interface is so intuitive and easy to use. Plug in a cable box..blue ray.. The Roku simply asks "what is connected to HDMI 1?". You chose what it is and simply change back to it from the home screen. Amazing clear picture also. Highly recommended.

Roku - Enhances TV features via Internet Updates
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV about a year ago because of it's dimensions. Originally the Roku interface seemed slow, but after a few updates of Roku software, the TV performs the same as my TcL Roku TVs and has added new features where I can turn TV off and on from Roku App on my Phone. No longer need remote to use TV. Show me another TV that does that! This TV cost more than I would expect but does meet my specific needs.

Great Picture Quality and size but freezes, etc.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Roku tends to freeze and have some issues. When you have a TV that is solely run by the Roku operating system, then you will have issues. It freezes up almost all the time, turns off on its own and does its own things. The TV itself has a great picture quality for the price but thats about it. The sound is muffled, so you have to turn it up louder than normal to hear if you have even a little bit of background noise going on. Accessing settings is not as simple as clicking a settings button on your remote because there simply is only a few buttons on the Roku remote and that's all you get. You have to go into the main menu and then go down to settings. To change your input, you have to press the home button, then scroll down to input. Very annoying. Roku is good as a separate device but not being a TV OS. You're better off getting a Samsung TV or LG. Don't buy a Roku TV if you don't want to deal with these kinds of problems. A Roku remote as a TV remote, simply doesn't work well because that is all that comes with it as a remote.

Nice picture quality!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sort of slow start up, speakers aren't the best. Roku is great! Lots of add ons with roku, be aware not all are free, which is a set back. And remote is small, I tend to loose it, but with roku app you can control every function of TV as a remote!

Lag after lag then restarts on it's own
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave it a 1 just cuz its easy to use and the picture is good but its extremely laggy and restarts on it's own plus I can't give it a zero. I sent it in to get fixed, they said they had to replace the motherboard but it seems to work just the same. It would connect to the wifi but wouldn't update until I factory reset it twice lol. The apps lag and watching a show sometimes it just stops playing and shut off and I've only had my tv back for about a week now. I wouldn't recommend this tv, spring for the better companies. Wish I would've

Frustrating setup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setting up took about 2 hours. TV was about 30 feet from router and kept loosing connection. After updating software it powered off to reset and after powering on, took about 30 minutes to get past first screen. I went and showered and when I got back it was off. I powered it on then it got to a point where I HAD to get a Roku account to get past that point. To get the activation code I had to move the tv right next to the router. It's on now but that was ridiculous. Gonna have to get something to get better wifi to bedroom so this tv will work right- I have no issues with other devices in there and it doesn't have an Ethernet plug. I was really longing for the days when you plugged in a tv, pushed on and watched tv. I will not recommend this to a friend because of the setup issues. I almost returned to store a few times. Seems to have good picture on Directv.

Misleading Info
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be advised no Broadcasters or Cable providers broadcast in 1080P. It is way to expensive to do. So This TV is really a 720P not a 1080P. Most broadcasters do not use 1080i either any more. So the statement that this TV uses 1080P for better HD resolution is false.

Yeah, Not Bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 Years Old and still working as of 1/2022. Very surprised; looking back, not sure why I would buy an Insignia when I know better. Either way, I don't regret buying this one.

No major issues with TV. On the Roku side....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No major issues with the TV. On the Roku side we have some connectivity issues with apps. Sometimes I need to log out and back in to an app for it to work. Kind of a hassle. Still after about a month no major issues. Works with video game system, DVD player, and another streaming box.
