I bought this for a Christmas gift. I own the 49" and the 24" Both have been great TV's and you can't beat the price. Like always, buy the extended warranty with your purchase. I love having the Roku app built in. It makes it so much easier. Hopefully he will love the TV.

I researched inexpensive Roku TVs for a long time, and decided on this one based both on price and reviews. This unit didn't disappoint. Picture quality is excellent, and the interface is wonderful. Set up completely within 15 minutes, including updating the firmware.

My in-laws had a tiny TV in their bedroom and it was a 720 pixel I thought we got rid of all those my father-in-law complains about how clear it is and how you can see the wrinkles on people's faces in the TV if you buy this you'll love it and it's got Roku built into it

I bought 2 of these televisions for a rental property that I own. I didn't expect much for the price but it did surprise me. Some of the features are not user friendly and the remote is rather blah. However, if you are looking for an inexpensive TV to do what it needs to, this is it.

The picture quality is great. The only problem we encountered was the remote control in the box was defective and it took us awhile to figure out why we couldn't get the TV set up. Customer service helped us figure out the problem and mailed us a replacement remote control.

Bought this after reading many of prior reviews, with intent to use with household WiFi and digital antenna. i did not have any trouble with set up, volume or using the remote control to navigate to various menu options. Good color and picture. Excellent value for the price.

We bought this TV for our bedroom, and got a TV a little bigger than anticipated because the price was so good. Had it a few weeks, and couldn't be happier. Nice picture, responsive. I feel like I'd be happy with it as our primary TV, as well. Time will tell...

I wanted a smart TV with antenna hook up for viewing TV broadcasts from an HD antenna. I also like that you can put in a usb stick and pause and re play live TV broadcasts. I didn't like that the remote didn't have the numbers for direct input to channels . Instead you just have up and down search.

We bought this as a replacement in our bedroom. It's just big enough for what we need. The picture quality is great, so many options to choose from as to what source to watch from...we only have cable hooked up to it for now....I guess not so smart. It's a great buy for the money!

Picture quality is great for a 1080p television. The built in Roku TV is a must for streaming apps without extra set top or plug in accessories. It works great with my DirecTV Now subscription. However, the Roku TV interface menu is a little clumsy and slow and could be improved.

I was a bit skeptical of this TV being it was an Insignia. However, my father in law has had a 55 inch insignia in his living room which is quite nice so I figured why not. Turns out this TV is perfect. Not only is the display really good, but the roku player is just clutch. U can get so much for free with just your Internet connection. And if u already have a Hulu or netflix account on top of it, you're all set. The TVS menu is also nice and easy to use. The only bad thing I guess I can say is that u pretty much need the remote it comes with for everything. Other than that, you can't beat the price of this TV. It's def worth it.

This product was quality for the price I paid. Even better during Black Friday sale. My only issue is I think the design is a bit weak. I suggest take the "do not drop or mishandle" label a bit more seriously with this one. Overall great 2nd TV for my kids room (put on a stand to avoid collisions).

Great picture, SMART TV features are great and easy to setup. Set by step instructions on screen easy to follow. This was my first tv purchase of this brand, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound and picture quality , I will add this to my future consideration lists of options.

Great picture, but the Roku interface is clunky. It is slow to connect to the different apps. My Roku stick and Roku 3 worked much better in the same location. It is a discounted refurbished unit, so maybe that accounts for the problem. May need to take advantage of the geek squad service plan.

Super easy to set up and put in a mount for the wall. Also super easy to work and navigate if you have never used a roku. Love the fact that it's built into the tv and that we don't have to have a piece hanging off the tv to view everything like the Roku offers.

This fits perfectly in the alcove beside my fireplace. Picture is clear and visible throughout my viewing space. I love, love, love that I can use ONE remote for all my TV features. I plugged in a 32 GB thumb drive and can now stop and start live broadcasts!!! Love this!

The TV was an easy install. We bought a wall mount with it. You just follow the prompts to setup it up. It connected to our wifi and we were able to start watching right away no issues so far. We have another Roku insignia tv and the controller operates both TVs which is nice.

Hard to beat this much 39-40" TV for less than $300. 1080p picture is very good and Roku is a home run. It does have signt delay when first turned on before signal is acquired but that's barely an inconvenience.

Picture has great color and picture quality. It's in the rec room and everybody thinks the picture looks better than my Panasonic in the living room. Son comes over to watch Hockey an it he likes it better than his at home. Couldn't be happier with it at this time.

This is our second one so far. Roku works everything so far that we use or want to use. Offers tons of free apps and movie channels. Try one. you'll love it. If I had one complaint, it would be that it doesn't have a browser app, at least one that works right. overall, happy.
