More the cost of the coverage vs the cost of the product the extended protection is 100% worth it. Why spend loads of money on electronics of any kind only to take a chance at lightning or some other form of power surge taking out your equipment? Even if you have ups backups/surge protectors they do not protect against a close power surge or lightning strike. Nothing can. I’m an instrumentation/electrician for a large municipality and I know first hand no matter how much you spend on protection equipment you can’t stop some power spikes that damage your electronics. Buy this protection and have peace of mind.

It's great to have protection especially when you get a large monitor screen that can be easily damaged from a slight bump that directly hits the screen. So far I haven't damaged my screen, but I had a few close calls when my family members walked past my desk and bumped into the side of the monitor.

First of all, as a monitor, the picture is terrific. I cannot complain - it even has an Eye Saver mode to save strain on your eyes. However, the auto detect (source) feature does not work. I attached a photo of the menu and it has Auto/Manual so it claims to have the feature but it does not work. It only has 2 inputs - HDMI and VGA. My computer is connected to the VGA and a Roku Soundbar on the HDMI. Shame on me for not testing it when I bought it, otherwise I would have returned it. I even purchased a Geek Squad 4 Yr Product Replacement plan. Now I simply have to reach to the back to switch sources, what an inconvenience. Other features - the stand is very basic. I have Dell and HP monitors with stands that can be raised and the screen flipped to go vertical. I bought the monitor for the 27" size so I am not going to penalize this for that. Lastly, it only has 2 inputs, VGA and HDMI as I said. It would have been good to have a DVI, DisplayPort or another HDMI but I knew that when I bought it. Otherwise, it is a solid large monitor that does the job except for the annoying auto detect that does not work.

Great product. Simple and easy to put stand together. Unfortunately, no one at Best Buy had any knowledge on this product; not for any monitor product, as a matter of fact. I asked one employee, they didn’t know. They got someone that did know and turned out they didn’t know anything about monitors. Waited for a third person and they read off the specs and size from the app. As if I didn’t know how to read, lol. Take your job more seriously or you’ll be jumping hourly jobs like Leap Frog. Geek squad was absolutely no help and did not help me in any way shape or fashion. That goes for the three employees I talked to about this product.

Geek Squad has been UH-MAZING! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable, I go to them for all things tech, especially my computer questions! I got a new monitor for my dual screen setup, and since my second screen is no longer manufactured, I was having a hard time finding one to pair with it. Feel Squad helped me find a good companion screen to help ensure the graphics and visual transitions were as smooth as possible!

the geek squad replacement is a lifesaver! I had issues with a monitor after a year of use and i thought I was out of luck so for 2 more years I dealt with those issues until I couldn't anymore. I started shopping around and I remembered I had purchased geek squad protection ! I packed up the monitor that had issues and brought it to bestbuy they did not have a replacement so they gave me store credit. I ended up using the credit to get one of the latest monitors!!! Extremely satisfied with my purchase and purchased geek squad on my new monitor as well should a problem arise.

I got the Geek Squad warranty, but I haven’t had to use it yet since my device is working perfectly. It’s nice to have peace of mind knowing it’s covered if anything comes up.

Had a great experience at best buy andnit was worth to get sll the items i had purchased.

4- year geek squad protection is a must have for big ticket items such as the the LG Ultragear 49GR85DC-B monitor I purchased it with. It is really nice to have that piece of mind that if something goes wrong they will fix it and your investment will be protected.

Bought this to protect my investment (Samsung G9 OLED). For a piece of mind and 4 years worth of protection for the price I paid, I feel like it's definitely worth it. Especially for an OLED panel. I've only heard about nightmares and headache going through Samsung's customer support and QC with their products can be a hit or miss but with the Geek Squad plan, I have nothing to worry about.

Its a good size monitor with good functionality of having a big extended display. but it blinks more than couple time to start the display. And its take too long to respond. Being flat viewing far corners are little tough. Look at the picture I tried to capture while it is blinking to start

Easy to set up, very well packaged or of the box ready for gaming very happy so far! Fans are very quiet. motherboard and other hardware is easy to access with the glass door! So far I'm loving it even though i bought for my 15 year old nephew. I'm considering getting one for myself!

I bought the protection plan along side my Arc 2 55" monitor so i could have 4 years of stress free service for this 2,000$ monitor.

I am very happy that they let you get this warranty for cheap and it lasts 4 years at first I didn’t think it was real but I am pleased to say it is.

I haven't had to use them yet but is it with ease knowing that I do have them if something happens to my monitor

Hands down!!!! If you purchase an expensive device, and do it get the protection plan, you are wrong! Products fail! In my case, a $400 printer, a $500+ 2K Dell monitor with dead pixels, a $330 Steel Series headset all within a year had defects! Good thing for me I was able to get them replaced! MUST HAVE!!! When you make a big purchase, just factor it in before you walk into the store and look at the bottom line price. Each product has a varying price from low to high. So if you're getting a $1000 TV expect to pay may be a little over 100 bucks and of course the taxes that goes into the cost of the television. It may seem like a bitter pill to swallow but, imagine that $1000 television that you just purchased the sound card goes out or you get hit with an electrical search and don't have the protection plan, you pretty much just bought a $1000 brick and now I have to go purchase another television. That's just an example! Trust me! MUST HAVE!
