I have never had any problem with any Best Buy warranty and I have used the protection plans on more than one occasion. It has always met or exceeded my expectations.

I bought one of these with my refrigerator and the ice maker went out in it. I called geek squad and they were able to send someone out to have it fixed.

Geek squad warranties aren't always a slam dunk, but on any larger purchases, I always make the splurge. Especially if they have batteries or "smart" platforms that are prone to fail.
