    Not worth the premium you pay for Best Buy warranty. Hug it on Amazon for cheaper and pay way less for the warranty. Beat buy sends off to manufactor for repair just like everyone else while you wait weeks without a decide and paid way more for warranty you were led to believe was replaced in store like beat buy used to be

    Not Happy - sorry Best Buy

    Bought this for our new Dyson V6 vacuum. We assumed the vacuum was faulty. Keep getting a loss of power took it back several times and no solution given. So, we used the protection. Which ended the extended warranty. Turns out the filter needed to be cleaned. So we wasted our money. Not happy.

    They don’t fix things just ship them out and give store credit so if you bought something on sale at the time that’s what you get back and are stuck with having to buy a new product at the going rate which ends up being a lot more.

    Was told that the warranty would start after the manufacturers warranty expired, but found out a few days later thst it actually started on the date of purchase.

    Poor warranty service

    I made the mistake of purchasing the geek squad protection. It does absolutely nothing. They would not fix or replace my vacuum even though they had it in stock. Instead they gave me store credit which forced me to spend another $80 on a vacuum and to buy from them. They were not very helpful either.

    Geek square support people don't know what department fixes vacuums. Best Buy sold me a plan for a vacuum. I have spoken with different agents, and they keep transferring the call to the "right" department.

    they seem to find a way to charge you almost as much as a new one... they told me they longer carry item... so they charged more for a cheaper model
