I will never buy anything (over $200) from Best Buy without also purchasing the geek squad warranty. It’s just not worth it to invest in some thing and not have the peace of mind to know that if you’re crazy son decides to throw a football at your router or vacuums up his bag of marbles, this geek squad warranty will cover everything. So glad that I got this because I have crazy kids... Who may or may not like to vacuum up marbles.

I was able to get a replacement. I replaced it with a different manufacturer's modem, so it's very good to have it. I get store credit if you change your mind about buying something else or replacing it.

They attended to my issues and resolved my concerns

So far so good. I've had this almost a year. Not too many interruption. Recommend using the web interface if you need to change anything. App not so configurable.

Best buys extended warranty is excellent When it comes to appliances, electronics, and anything in general these days. 10 to 20 years ago we were sold a lie from big corporations fleeing the US in search of foreign markets with cheap labor to exploit while telling the locals we bring needed jobs to your country, Quantity is Quality, meaning if it breaks you can replace it cheap. Nothing is cheap any more in the US, the only thing cheap is labor cost for these Big Corporations making a nice profit i foreign countrys. Get the warranty, you will need it.

Easy set up. App control “normal non tech” person friendly. So far 2yrs in with no issues. Was a big upgrade from old router. Glad I went with this one. Money well spent

Haven’t had a chance to use Geek Squad on current product, but in the past Geek Squad has been fast, courteous, and professional.

Love this service, and with frequent relocations due to employment, it has saved $$$ with mounting and removing the mounting of TVs. Geek Squad product has also been great with no hassle repairing or replacing items we've placed under warranty with purchase. At this point, the warranty is part of our purchase, as the service has been great. A definite must-have.

I have purchased several high priced routers to create an access point for my home. Worrying about one or more routers failing has been on my mind. But knowing this protection plan is in place really puts my mind at ease. I don't have to buy plans for each item, as they are automatically added when I buy them. Very convenient!

My guy setup my new TV and soundbar very efficiently. He removed my old TV for recycling. He demonstrated how to use the remote controls for both TV and soundbar, and was very patient with my questions.
