    I usually have high regrads with the Geeksquad but I am only giving this a 3 star rating because of an incident that I feel has not been resolved. I purchased a soundbar and subwoofer. The serial number on the box, receipt and Geeksquad paperwork all matched but they did not match the serial number on the soundbar nor on the subwoofer. When I brought it to the attention of both the sales department and Geeksquad, I was not not to worry about it and they will honor the warranty and correct the serial numbers at the time of service. Since it is not corrected now, I'm leary they will honor a warranty for the product having different serial numbers than on the receipt. After all, who's to say I don't have 2 soundbars but only 1 warranty. Time will tell.

    Great sound. Bad connectivity

    Positives: Let me start of by saying this product delivers great sound. Clear. Precise. No distortion. Great quality. Great looking design too Negatives: it had a connectivity issue with my TV. I connected through HDMI ARC connection. It kept turning my tv back on after I turned it off. Whether I used the Bose remote or the TV remote, it didn’t matter. It did the same to my Apple TV. It turned everything back on a second after I turned it off. This was the primary reason for returning the product. The software upgrade didn’t help either. The next thing that bothered me was that my TV had pretty decent sound and it didn’t upgrade the quality to a $700 level. I had bought just the sound bar. No other add-ons. My TV is a Sony XBR930. 55 in. If you don’t have any connectivity issues and if your tv sound isn’t all that great, this is a great product.

    It's always good to be protected, but when it comes to a high quality product, you are rarely gonna get burned - especially if you routinely stand up for yourself. The definition of middle-class is "under paid, and over insured"

    Had this plan purchased the same time as our soundbar. Two years and a few months later, I notice the subwoofer not working. Took it back but protection plan expired. It happens, so had to buy a new soundbar and another protection plan.

    Unsure about the warranty; I have never had a product that required an extended warranty because Best Buy has always treated me very fairly ! I'll let everyone know if I need to use it on the product I purchased !
