Sometimes Geek squad protection doesn't make sense to buy and sometimes it does. I think it makes sense here. I've used it before, and there's usually no hassle.

I would not purchase a car radio receiver without this protection. They have many funtions and require electronics to work pretty hard. I have had to use it and it saved my over $300

Added Geek Squad Protection of my in dash radio. It is great to have this protection if you need it. A wire came loose on my radio and they fixed it. No problem and no charge!

I had a problem with my car radio in the third year. It needed replacement and Best Buy swapped it out. No problem. Thanks Best Buy!

I have owned a continuous Geek Squad service / technical support agreement since the creation of Geek Squad. Most of my contact is done via remotely (on line) but there are times when I still need to take a PC into the Geek Squad in Best Buy. I use their services at least once a month and am confident I could not find better professional service anywhere else. An added plus in they are available 24/7/

don't buy expensive items without protection, 10/10

Glad I had this!! I had a stereo installed in my van and about a year later it stopped working and needed replaced. There was no cost for the new radio or the install.

I haven't needed it, but things can go wrong. I needed the extra warranty on my other car stereo. I'm glad I had it then.

Geek squad has the best warranties. I try to buy all my gadgets from Best Buy for the warranty.

I’m please with the Geek Squad they were very helpful when choosing a replacement radio they are second to none.

I like the functions this unit has I’m a little disappointed that I lost my front channels so I’m contacting geek squad to see if it can be repaired
