Bose is very good for music, i had this in my living room at first with Sony str dh590, then bought the sony str dn1080, it has good combo, putting them together, boss is know by their subs, u can play the the LPF that extend the rumbling sounds, the only thing i dont like is the center channel when it comes to movie, since ive use the Sony 590 and sony 1080 receiver, it doesnt give me a good dialogue option to increase. When it come to music bose has a good mid range.

You can never go wrong with Bose. Excellent sound quality. I like its bass and clarity of the speakers. Easy to setup.

Needed small speakers for bookshelves but wanted good sound for surround and enjoy music, too. Newer Acoustimass have higher range and sound great for music as well. Can use prewired but need the adapters for each speaker. Bose mailed five of them to me for free. Love it!!!

Crisp, brilliant sound and the bass is just booming! Wonderfully performing speakers and worth every penny in the $1,000 package, though it would’ve been nice for Bose to include an AV receiver of their own as a bundle. Nonetheless, these speakers pair well with my Sony 7.2 AV Receiver. Best speakers on the market and in the future, I imagine Bose will replace them with another upgrade and at the same price point being that these speakers have been on the market for 5 years now.

Literally great. Sounds great! Has a great bass response. Shakes the house sometimes. Easy to set up and understand.

After researching several speaker systems, I decided to go with the Bose system, primarily because I already had a Lifestyle V20 system I was replacing. I did not want to go with the entire Bose entertainment system this time because there isn't much value for the money. I combined this system with a Yamaha Aventage AV receiver and I could not be happier with the system. My only issue was, the Bose speakers are somewhat proprietary. Even though I previously had Bose speakers mounted, the ends of the speaker wire were different and so was the mounting bracket. Other than that, no issues.

Over priced for the quality,excepted more, the speakers are very tiny the box display makes you think the speakers are big and taller than they are. Bose could have done better on the speakers, speakers are too little for the subwoofer capabilities

These speakers sounds awesome yet they are so compact that they can fit nearly seamlessly into any set up. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I have always liked Bose, have several of their products and still liking them. This unit is good for my space, but the sound somehow is not so great to a point that you find yourself stop and listen to the nuances in the background. Also the rear speakers, no floor stands for them. The way my place is, I cant mount them on the wall, or some peopel may not want to mount to the wall, I asked the sales person, who said no floor stand period. And he is right, I checked Bose site and googled it, no luck.

I had a Bose surround system that was over 15 years old. The system still worked great but I thought it was time for an upgrade. This system just sounds so much better, the bass is much cleaner. The only thing I found to be a problem was the connection on the speaker has to be a Bose connector. So I found some connectors on the secondary market that work fine. Very happy with this new system.

Easy setup and great sound. I would recommend the system if your interested in great sound.

Takes your movies, gaming, and music to another level. I wish theyd mention on there that you need a receiver to be able to use these as i didnt know but bestbuy employees were able to track down one down for me at a great price. Set up is super easy, lengthy wires and high quality construction of speakers.

System sounds great, although it takes some tweaking to figure out where the speakers should be placed for best sound quality. My only complaint is that the wall mount speakers are both expensive and sold separately.

Sound is fantastic wish the bass was a little better. Also it’s a massive pain in the butt to attach it to a wall. Wall mounts are not included and are hard to find actual right ones and then they are flush so you have to wire through the walls.

This is my second bose home theater system I purchased. The first on lasted more than 20 years. When I finally stopped working correctly my husband said lets not spend the extra money buying another bose system, so instead we pruchased a samsung system. Well it only lasted 1 1/2 years and I didn't buy the extra warranty for it so I was once again looking for a replacement. That's when I decided to go back to bose. This system has great sound quality and works like it is suppose to work. I get great surrond sound just like the theater has. Got to LOVE it I'm sure it will last 20 years like the last one did.

Great sound system, as expected from Bose it truly doesn’t disappoint. True bass tones with adjustment for everyone’s desire. Voices are crisp and clear with sounds adding immense feeling of being in the action by left and right, left back and right back cube speakers that deliver. Awesome

The sound from this system... movie or music is amazing. The bass is awesome and the speakers produce a full range. I replaced a 15 year old Acoustimass with this one and the difference is amazing!

Sound is amazing covers like theatre. I have tried this with yamaha so sound is like real theatre
