Washer broke less than one year after taking delivery. I called Best Buy Geek Squad for support and instead of helping they said you have to call Samsung, this isn't us. What?? This was after I pointed out I have Geek Squad Five Year Protection. Completely useless.

They stole my remaining credits for the washer. It was initially extremely hard to get in contact with someone. I have yet to have my credits returned
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The Geek Guy was pleasant and that was about the best of the visit. This LG Ventless Dryer had Diagnosis access via Cell Phone and none was done. I would not recommend anyone buying an Appliance from Best Buy to purchase a Warranty. There are other stores that can offer better coverage than a computer Geek.

So we got ours at an outlet open box for 1400$. We had to drive 2 hours there but man thats a great price. I regret not buying 2 of them. We live on an off grid property, so we needed a washer/dryer that was energy efficient enough to not completely drain our powerwall 3. This fit the bill. I cannot explain how great this has been. Its not quirkey in any way. It has a very handy app you can control, and no more dryer sheets needed really. My favorite is the pre-wash dry cycle that helps remove pet fluff from our clothes. The only weird thing is you def need to buy the 7” stand so you can drain the water filter at the bottom every now and then as it can become clogged up over time but even that process is easy. This has literally been a 10/10 appliance. If you see it for 1400$ buy one. Do not buy it at an outlet price of 2100, that’s almost the same new at lowes or home depot. I would wait for a good condition one at 1500$ or less. Also heads up, it’s VERY HEAVY. I reccomend using a trailer and not putting it in the bed of a truck just for easy of getting it in the house. Get straps and two very strong people and a spotter to help guide.

So far we love it! If anything changes, we’ll put in a new review. I love how it looks, and I really love the touch screen. I’m a sucker for tech stuff like that.
You can also connect it to an app. You can set up your cycles on there, then it lets you know when the cycles are done. It lets you know when to clean the drum, how much energy it’s using, and you can add multiple members to the household for easy use on multiple phones.
It has remote start also, even if you’re not home. And yes, you CAN use it without the app just fine. The app is just a nice bonus.
Machine is efficient, lots of settings to use, I like that the lights can be turned on or off. You can choose everything about your cycle, but it determines the load size for you. It spins it around a bit and senses the load size. It has a normal noise level in my opinion, doesn’t bother us.
Love the EZ dispense, where you can fill a little reservoir with your detergent so you don’t have to fill it every time.
I don’t notice any sort of smell at all, no problems with the drum, no issues at all yet. Tends to get finger prints, but not a big deal. Also, if any one is wondering, they can both run at the same time.
**I got mine on sale at Home Depot- their review section wouldn’t let me write everything I wanted to.
There’s more settings than in the pictures but I can’t submit videos.

I love my Samsung washer. It’s perfect for small and oversize loads. I can control the setting through the SmartThings app and I can even schedule for my Alexa to start the washer at a certain time.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Geek Squad, and I am thoroughly impressed by their expertise and professionalism. From the moment I scheduled my appointment to the completion of the service, everything was seamless.
The technician arrived promptly, well-prepared, and with a friendly demeanor that immediately put me at ease. They took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the process in clear, easy-to-understand terms. Whether it was troubleshooting my laptop issues or setting up my new home entertainment system, their knowledge and skill were evident at every step.
What stood out the most was their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I was satisfied. They didn’t just fix the problem—they went above and beyond to optimize my devices and offer helpful tips for future maintenance.
Geek Squad’s customer service is top-notch, and their pricing is transparent and fair for the level of service provided. It’s clear that they value their customers and take pride in their work. I would highly recommend Geek Squad to anyone looking for reliable, professional tech support. They’ve earned my trust and gratitude—thank you!

I have owned the lg washer/ dryer for 5 months now, I'll let you in on the good and bad. The good: you can wash and dry your home in one load, and you can go out in peace. Another good is that it connects to your phone so if you're out, you know when your clothes is done. I also love how the washer is space saving and energy saving. So now the bad... when your clothes is done you need to leave the door open or moisture will build up and create a funky smell. Another bad is that you have to cleab it regularly and i mean like atleast once a week depending on how much you use it or you will get a horrid smell quickly. You can clean it which is good. One last thing, the lint gets clogged up in the back where you can't reach even when cleaned after every use and it gets moist and moldyish. Im having to take it apart to deep clean it.

The washer is a little loud, not excessive by any means, but it is getting a little quieter as it breaks in over the last 2 months. It is a hybrid washer meaning you can use regular detergent with the water height you choose or use the HE setting for minimal water and HE detergents. I had a lot of regular detergent on hand so this was a must for me. For full removal of softener I use the double rinse cycle, clothes are drier and softener is fully depleted. My clothes have been very clean with no issues at all. It’s a washer for the best of both regular detergent and HE people. The agitator works well to remove ground in dirt and debris without doing any damage to clothing. It’s large enough to wash a comforter with ease which is a plus. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

The geek squad guys are awesome! I had an issue with my dryer not coming on so i called an electrician, thinking it was the outlet. They came out and said the issue was the dryer, not the outlet. The geek squad guys brought me a new dryer and determined that the dryer was fine all along and the problem was in fact, with the outlet. Got another electrician to come out and actually fix it and now the dryer works great. They were very nice about the situation and set everything up for me before they left. They said to give them a call if i had any issues. Great service!

Loving My LG 5.5 Cu. Ft. Washer!!! I’ve Had For Almost 2Yrs. Now…And No Issues -At All!!! It’s Nice And Roomy And I Love The Stainless Steel Drum And No Big Gawky Center Part…Taking Up Needed Room. I Also Love The See-Through Top Lid And All The Fancy Gadgets!!! Added Bonus, The Washer Plays A Little Tune When Cycle Is Done. You Can Also Connect Your Washer With Online Technology…But, I’m More Old-School And Have Not Tried That Part -Yet. You Cannot Go Wrong With This Washer. Only Thing, If You’re Less Than 5’4”…You May Need A Small Stool To Reach The Bottom Of Your Washer…It’s Pretty Deep And Spacious!!! Finally, Don’t Forget To Add Your Geek Squad Protection Plan…I Chose The 5-Year Plan!!! So, No Worries Here!!!

This plan makes sense to me for a washing machine. Hower, I plead you to purchase after the item is delivered. It srats at the time of purchase even though the item may be delived two weeks later. This caused me my warranty, due to me thinking it was based on the delivery date, and Geek Squad refusing to repair since I called with issue a few days passed the 5 year purchase date and a week before 5 year delivery date. I assumed it would be based upon delivery date. I did not make this mistake this time, purchasing a few days after delivery.

Had to use Geek Squad the first week as one of the hampers came undone, causing the washing machine to be loud and the rubber seal to not be flushed. Geek Squad came out right away and immediately diagnosed and fixed the issue within the same hour!

My previous LG washer started to show signs of old age - became very noisy. I got this replacement 1.5 years ago and have had great experience since then. It is an excellent front loading washing machine, quiet yet powerful, easy to use and has all the washing modes I wished for.

Geek Squad excellent customer service! Called to make an appointment and they came next day first thing in the morning and diagnosed and solved my issue within the hour regarding my hamper being disconnected in the washer drum!

I love, love, LOVE this new washer/dryer. Its so easy to work and it does a great job. Its near perfect for elderly , handicap people like my husband and i. The filter is easy to get to and do. The only problem is we have to have one of the girls to fill the dispensers for us, because they are low to the ground. Also they have to clean the pumps for us as well when it needs it because it also is low to the floor and hard to get to. Thankfully it does not need either of those very often.

they have backed me up since I got the warranty especially my dryer, Now I'm calling on my washer and we shall see how they do, I haven't really had any problems with best buy and their warranties geek squad has not failed me yet, so I can only give them good reviews,

Simple protection plan that after research I have discovered is more comprehensive than and has much better customer service than the manufacturer’s warranty.

The Geek Squad coverage is the best in the business and the only one I truly trust to follow through on what is promised. I add it to all of my major purchases and it has come through in the clutch on many occasions.
