It's average because they should have put more work into the emulator. I have only played Asteroids so far, but the controls are very difficult to handle. You have to remember that the original Atari controls were not proportional to the deflection of the joystick so they were much less responsive. You would think that's a good thing, but it makes the game hard to play, and not as enjoyable.

I have purchased pretty much all Atari collections for nostagic memories. Some have been good, many have not. Out of all Atari collections, this one is by far the best and closest to what I remembered playing. The Atari Jaguar games is a huge plus since i was never able to play them before.

would give it 5 stars but i need to use both controllers to play games that were invented before controllers- and it says we can have 4 players so now i would need to buy more controllers for everyone to play. annoying. but the games are fun.

Not only does this include a lot of older Atari games that have never seen re-releases (5200, 7800, Lynx and Jaguar) in addition to some new and long requested releases, but it is all put together in this fantastic package that functions as a bit of a museum tour through atari's history. the presentation is great, the emulation is great, the obscurity of games represented here is great and this switch port is great. this game sets a new standard for what retro compilation titles should be. Digital Eclipse really outdid themselves.

In addition to being able to play a lot of old school Atari games, they included art work, and video interviews, and so much more. It is definitely worth the money.

It has many games to choose from and I can play many of the games with my kids. The timeline of history included with the game is also cool to see.

Very interesting game - it provides the history of the games, as well as some pretty cool lowfi beats. I used to play the Atari with my mom growing up, so this is a very fun throwback.

Very good selection from each gen, from arcade to jaguar. There are some duds in here too, but it leaves them open to release a volume 2.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband for Christmas. It took a little getting use to but he says he is really enjoying it. Lots of games to pick from. Very classic Atari. Would love to see one with the activision games.

I truly enjoyed playing this old school game. If you enjoyed playing centipede as a kid then this is the game for you.

Game is lots of fun. Family got it for me for christmas, since its th "old timey" type of games. Its a little tough to navigate at first, if you don't generally play or arent used to how these games work.

Nice collection, the emulation is top notch and all the extra content is very cool.

Relive the true classics and learn more about Atari. I grew up with the 2600 and love that I can carry it with me now.

A remarkably clever "interactive museum" blending gameplay with some deep cuts into the history of Atari. A must-purchase for fans of retro gaming. =)

All the classics, give or take a few, right at your fingertips. It even had Jaguar, Lynx, and unreleased games that I've never seen or heard of.
