The Insignia - 52mm UV Lens Filter - Clear offers excellent protection, is a perfect fit, is easy to attach and has a very affordable price. It protects your lenses from glare, dust, dirt and scratches. It's a "must have" to protect your lenses!!

I put this on my 20mm f2.8 pancake lens to protect from any scratches. This filter is cheap, does the job, easy to clean and doesn't affect the image. Also, the Canon lens cap fits perfectly on this filter.

For the price it great and if you damage it it 9.99. Glare reduction great picture quality excellent can see difference with lens on and off.

This filter works as intended. It stays on my lens all the time, primarily for protection, but also to cut a bit of glare for UV light. It doesn't introduce any artifacts to the images, and it doesn't seem to cut the light reaching the sensor at all--I haven't had to boost ISO or exposure times to compensate. While this filter doesn't have any of the fancy coatings you'll get on higher-priced version, I'll take the ease of cleaning and lower price and put more money in the lenses themselves.

It reduces glare and any hazing when taking photos which in turn makes for a much higher quality photo. It also does a good job of protecting the lens. Always better to replace or clean a filter than the actual lens. I go to the beach and there is always a slight breeze coming off the ocean (kicks up sand). Filters are inexpensive and a nice lens is expensive. Take the steps to protect your investment. It is good to experiment with filters and you should have multiple in your bag.

Works great with my Nikon lens. Price is good compared to some filters of the same kind. Quality is excellent.

I recently bought this UV lens filter for my zoom lens on my Nikon D3300 camera....and all I gotta say is: If you want to protect your lens (which is about 200 bucks to replace) this is the way to go! I would much rather replace a 10 buck UV lens than the main glass! It does not degrade your picture quality in any way, and actually improves it in strong light

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this UV lens filter. But for the price I couldn't resist. I needed 3 of the same size for some prime lenses. I can not notice any difference from other brands that cost 6-7 times as much. Image quality is good and the threads seem just fine.

Last UV filter paid the price protecting the lens from damage. Exactly what I need this one to do. These are easy to install, makes my photos look better and protect that expensive lens from damage. Perfect!

I love this lens! I purchased this lens for my very expensive Nikon SLR camera. This lens was inexpensive and it protects my camera lens from scratches. It is clear and my pictures come out really well with it. I love the protection it offers.

Got this at a great price. Even though it's relatively cheap, it works well. No issues with it so far. Have to be careful with how snugly you tighten it, though. Tried to take the filter off for some sunrise/set pics and had a hard time.

I bought this lens for protection and to filter uv Rays. It does a great job at both! I like knowing that it is also protecting my expensive camera lens. I would highly recommend this for a new camera owner!

Bought this really as just to protect lense due grab and capture those quick moments. have seen a difference in clarity during tha sunset hours takes out all of glare that u might not want in a picture

This product was recommended to me by a Best Buy employee to protect my camera lens. It is actually to filter out UV rays for better picture clarity. It does a great job at that but I also like the added benefit of protecting my camera lens. It keeps it from getting scratched so instead of replacing a very expensive lens, you can replace the very low cost filter. It removes easily for cleaning. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product.

Not only protects from uv light however it also helps keep the lens protected. I have one for each one of my lenses and feel confident knowing that it offers additional protection.

I needed a UV filter for my Nikon lens. This filter was on sale at Best Buy and it has fit my lens properly. The lens with this filter delivers sharp clear images.

I always use a lens cover to protect my camera lenses and have found the Insignia to be a good choice. It has a good tight fit, when it needs cleaning comes off very easily.

We purchased this to cut back on the effects of the UV light and also to protect our camera lens from getting scratched. Nothing fancy - does a good job of both.

Needed a lens protector and this does the job just fine. Fits into the lens perfectly doesn't move or budge and i can still use the lens cover. I don't think it adds clarity to the picture like it says...i wouldn't get it for that reason.
