Great filter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this filter as a lens protector for a zoom lens I purchased and the 67 mm to 62 mm adapter makes it an extra filter for one of my older lenses. I would say the quality was as good or better than a lot of more expensive filters I've bought.

Decent lens protection for low budget application

The glass quality is decent, but detail is better without the filter. Also, it does add substantial glare when shooting toward the sun. Sure, that's not standard practice... but without this UV filter my D7000 / AF-S 18-140 ED produces fine results shooting toward the sun. If you need good cheap lens protection then this UV filter might be ok for you. But if you value clarity and glare reduction then you can do better at slightly higher cost. I can recommend this only as decent lens protection.
