Sick Soundtrack!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the launch edition of this game and it comes with a 28 page art book which is nice. If you want to get into dungeon crawlers, this is a great starter game. There is a good amount of customization that includes voices, appearances, and classes. As you progress, you unlock new classes, skills, equipment, and squads (more party members). The story is simple, pretty much saving the world and stuff, but throughout your adventure, you get to listen to some amazing soundtrack. I never ever got bored of the music in this game. It is so good that I wish this came with a soundtrack CD instead of a art book. The combat is quite fun, once you unlock a 2nd squad, you get a buddy system that can support your main first squad in battle and the animations are pretty cool to watch. Overall, it is a very fun game and that is what matters most in the end. Also did I mention how good the soundtrack is?

Fun classic RPG for modern times
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played this game as a demo on the the 3ds and I had to purchase the real game. It is so fun and easy to play. Its not that hard or time consuming to play at all. I beat the game within 2 weeks of a busy schedule. I highly recommend this game. Worth the money spent, not lying.

Good dungeon crawler RPG
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The main chunk of the game involves dungeon crawling and going through different worlds while battling monsters. The map is automatically revealed as you run along the paths, while the battle system is similar to Etrian Odyssey. Combat is fought with 3 main characters with up to 6 additional characters acting as support. Each character is custom, with options to choose different classes, appearances, colors, and voices (Japanese only, not English). Classes range from typical physical and magic users, to more unique ones like card summoners and hackers. The encounter rate is a little high for my liking, although you can buy an item that reduces it. Outside of battle, there is base building and the opportunity to get to know the NPCs better. The launch edition comes with a 28 page softcover book that contains art of the different classes as well as final and concept arts of enemies and locations. The book and game come in a box slightly bigger than the 3DS case.
