I bought this Blu-tooth speaker because it was highly rated for sound and dependability , well... I had this blu-tooth speaker for under 3 months and used it for outside when doing yard work ( no rain, no dampness, and not in the sun) until the sound started fading and crackling so I thought I need to charge the thing. Well, it wasn't because it was low but the speakers kept cutting out and crackling, I know it was paired properly and had no problems till now. I tried to hook up to computer to see if I needed any downloads but it will not register on any of my computers. I have another blu-tooth speak I been, insignia brand, useing for sleep and it's been over a year and no problems. I will send a comment to manufacturer but if I was you, look for something more dependable then an 808 series blu-tooth.

Works well but charging port loosened over time. Can’t charge anymore but was good while it lasted.

We have multiple types of speakers in our home! Surprisingly this little one has better quality than some of the previously purchased ones! I would definitely recommend!

Right now I am listening to Journey on my new Hextls Bluetooth Speaker. I was going to spend $79 on a Sony Bluetooth speaker and I saw the good reviews on this one. I got it for $39 on a Cyber Monday deal at Best Buy. Awesome decision! First of all it has weight and feels like quality. Second, I was looking for something that had good volume for web interviews that sometimes were to low even when cranked up to 100%. This does a great job with easy to access volume controls. Third, I work from home and I like music in the background, but not too loud to distract me from my work. This unit fits the bill. On low volume the music is very distinct and fairly clear. Third, when I want to crank up the music so I can hear it in the next room or fill up a large space with sound like when I am working out, it fits the bill just fine with a nice little bass thump. Fourth, I like the size of the unit, not too big or too small. It sits vertically, on a rubber 4.5" x 1.5" base (very stable) and it sits 6" high. For the price you cannot beat it. Sure you can pay more and many audiophiles do, but for my needs it is perfect.

I got this speaker thinking the heavier duty build would make for better sound. Boy was I wrong. You can barely hear the speaker after 5ft. Battery life is only about 5hrs. Will be returning this one as well, sadly hanging headphones on my neck has a higher volume

Battery won't charge, not cable, etc etc oh well. Also not very loud and only 8 hrs playback (more like 4). Getting JBL charge 3, hope it lasts longer, louder and 20 hrs playback time
