Customers love the Pro 2 Wireless Controller's build quality, compatibility with multiple devices, and long battery life. Many appreciate its comfortable feel and responsive D-pad, finding it a great value for the price. Great Controller with ONE minor flaw

I bought this 8bitdo controller because I love playing music rhythm games. On the switch, MOST controllers have the D-pad offset, making it awkward to play. After-all, most rhythm games play like DJmax and require the D-pad much like a playstation controller layout. This controller does the trick for that. The only reason I dock a star is because this controller is unable to wake the nintendo switch. 8bitdo has other controllers can wake the switch (such as the ultimate), so I don't see why they can't update these controllers to be able to accomplish the same. It's not a huge dealbreaker for me, but please be aware of this quirk. You either need to wake the switch with another controller, or walk up to the console and hit the power button before you head over to your couch. For me, I keep the controller charging peripheral on the media stand with the switch anyway, so it's not a huge problem. Just sucks for certain setups, especially if you keep a dust cover over the console.

This is my favorite off brand controller. Great button reaponses, wonderful d pad and the switch in bottom to change between uses is wonderful. Leaps and bounds better than preivious model.

The 8bitdo is the best PC game controller for most players, as it just simply works. With wired, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, it can connect to just about every gaming device in your home; with a comfortable, ergonomic grip, you can hold it for hours at a time.

This controller is an absolute dream! It gives an excellent grip/feel at a very reasonable cost. I've used this paired to a PC, a Raspberry Pi, and a Nintendo Switch, and it's been rock solid with each platform. It's especially good for retro gaming with its d-pad and analog stick layout.

Fantastic SNES design controller, with modern conveniences and comforts too! The controller is about as comfortable as a DualShock 4, with the quality of a 1st party controller too! I would honestly rate this controller on par with my Nintendo Switch Pro controller.

I tried a different wireless controller that was laid out more like an Xbox controller. However it just wouldn't connect to a raspberry pi. This one has no issues at all. Even the battery life is really good. The only change I would have liked is swapping the locations of the d-pad and the left stick.

I think this is one of the best controllers to use with the Nintendo Switch. Its got a good weight to it and it is nice to use. It feels like a quality product. I have used the joycons with the middle attachment and the power a controllers and the Hori game pad and i still like this the best.

I recently purchased an 8bitdo Pro 2 Controller to use with my Mister FPGA arcade system. When paired with an 8bitdo Bluetooth adapter it works great. Great battery life and controller buttons are easily reassigned based on your need. Very glad I bought it. Second 8bitdo controller I’ve purchased and both are top notch.

Seems to work fine for Apple games on iOS and Apple TV. Trickiest part is that the shapes Apple TV indicates for the buttons don’t correspond to the shapes on these buttons. Not sure whose design failure that is but it can be tough when you’re first learning a game.

This is a review after using for a few weeks, but I love this controller. It feels great, everything works as intended and the programmable buttons are put in a spot that makes using them easy and comfortable. I recommend this to anyone who wants a controller for nearly everything except Xbox and PlayStation.

Upgrade to the Pro2 from the SN30 Pro+

I previously owned the SN30 Pro+ and this Pro2 is an improvement in a few ways. The profile switcher button in the middle is useful when I'm playing games with different settings where I need certain buttons. There's additional "bumper" buttons on the back you can probably use for macros or some other function. I forget if there were input sliders on the SN30 Pro+ but for the Pro2 there's a button slider for Xinput, DirectInput, Switch, etc if you need to use it for some reason. My only concern is that the analog sticks might be made of the same rubber (?) material that the SN30 Pro+ had which eventually started to wear out and flake off.

So far I'm really enjoying using this controller for my iPad Pro while playing Diablo Immortal and MacBook Pro for Vampire Survivors. I notice that there sometimes is a lag while using on the Mac, but that could be a system issue because I haven't seen it on the iPad or Switch. The D-Pad is fantastic for fighting games on the Switch and really replicates the original feel of the SNES d-pad.
