Customers often highlight the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller's excellent build quality, versatile connectivity, and long-lasting battery life. The convenience of the charging dock and comfortable ergonomics are also appreciated. However, some users have reported concerns about potential stick drift and the controller's smaller size, while others note the absence of NFC functionality.

This is a great controller for use on the PC. I haven't tried it on Switch yet. It was easy enough to get set up and get the software installed to properly configure it. I've used it to play some emulators and it's working perfectly. Feels well built for the price as well.
Maybe the best part is the charging dock. It's very convenient to just throw it on the dock when I'm done playing.

I picked up a handheld gaming PC, and I was about to link my series S controller to it for max compatibility, but then I was thinking, do I really want to have to keep changing the sync every time I swap between desktop, handheld, and console? I was also going to be travelling with my Switch, and didn't want to have to bring a controller for that as well. I also have recently been experiencing some drift with a couple controllers due to the way they are constructed.
Welp, all problems were solved with this controller. Since the dongle is in the dock, no matter what device it's plugged into, handheld (with it's own dock) or desktop, it gets recognized as an industry standard x-input controller. When I flip the switch on the back to BT mode, my Switch picks it up and it just starts working there. The only thing I have to remember is when I'm on PC, that the buttons are labeled wrong, but that's something that Steam can fix if the game supports it.
I grabbed this not only to make my life more convenient when travelling, but also for the hall effect sensor joystick technology. Shelling out over a half-yard, even upwards of a c-note on some, is not unheard of, and doing such on a controller with inferior tech that is destined for eventual joystick drift is such a waste of money to me. Since the tech in this controller can mitigate deterioration of that sort, it was obvious to me where to throw my shekels.
The controller itself is comfortable to hold. I get confused as to which of the middle buttons does what, but that's on me since I swap between devices so often.

I took a shot in the dark with this controller. Wanted a controller that you can keep synced to pc and a switch at the same time, and this one does it. Have the dock plugged into my pc for the 2.4g and the bluetooth for my switch. Just flip the 2.4/bt on the controller and it works on both without resync. It eliminated having 2 controllers out for both. Definitely worth every penny.
Only downsides I have is that you have to shake the controller to turn on the switch and it has a rattle like something is loose/broken inside, but it doesnt bother me since it works properly.

Works as intended, feels good in the hand and buttons work well. No Joystick drift so far, however ive only owned it for a month. Great alternative if you dont want to spend $85 on the switch pro controller

Feels better in your hands, feels better to use, joysticks are nice and precise. Charge lasts forever. I haven’t had to charge mine yet and I’ve had it for weeks (albeit with inconsistent use). D-pad is great, buttons feel high quality and tactile. Ability to switch between bluetooth and 2.4 on the fly is incredibly convenient. Overall a solid, well made controller.

This is quite possibly the best non-Nintendo pro controller for Switch. Pretty good quality, controls great and has most features of the Nintendo branded one. Battery life is great too, and the included dock is a nice touch. I'm docking a star for a few of reasons. First, is the controller can't turn on the Switch. Second, no HD rumble, just standard rumble. And third, the dock makes an audible high pitched whine which can get annoying if the dock stays close.

Excellent controller; 8bitdo makes great accessories and this controller is one of the best. Love the flexibility for connectivity to different devices and ease of charging with the dock. Have only tried switch games so far, but feels better than the Nintendo pro controller and similar xbox style controllers.

I use this with my Nvidia Shield TV and it works great! Battery life is outstanding. The controller works best for me in Wi-Fi mode, though I had to download beta firmware to get the most of it. I will be buying a second controller!

I loved this controller during my time with it, but it ultimately had to go back because the bumper stopped working for me. I got this for my Switch 2 and it works with it after a pretty easy upgrade on my computer, but if you don't have a computer and trying to use this with your Switch 2, you will have a hard time.
Long story short, it was a good controller, felt nice in the hand. The dock was a nice touch with the dock lighting. I did enjoy it overall, but if the button wore out during my return window, it left me feeling uncertain of it's longevity.
I still recommend you try it though, it was good when it worked.

This controller is a great alternative to the Pro Controller. The included dongle in the charging base makes it easy to switch the connection from Switch to a PC with the switch on the back of the controller. Build quality feels great and is comfortable in the hand.

I love this controller so much, I bought two. the buttons are tactile and the triggers and sticks are super smooth. The 2.4 ghz usb adapter and the bluetooth both work great, it just doesnt work on the Switch 2 unfortunately.

Probably one of the smoothest controllers for a small price I have put my hands on. 8bit did the job right and I appreciate this controller. Oh, it runs on Linux too. Also, weight is nice in the hand

A bit pricey - another $10 discount and I would've bought three - at least!
Comes in various flavors, Android, Gaming Types, Windows, Bluetooth, &more. 1 easily balanced controller with a wide range of default & custom setting which is what I mostly use. The ease of movement is great.

I keep my switch docked 95% of the time and have never found the joycons particularly great for that use. Having used other 8bitdo controllers on PC and Android, I was delighted to see this one for the Switch. It performs wonderfully and the charging dock is a nice inclusion. I highly recommend this controller.

Love how it feels! Bought it for my switch 2, did not realize I had to update the drivers for it to work. Remember to update the adapter and controller if youre also using it for switch 2!
