Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller's excellent build quality, versatile connectivity, and long-lasting battery life. The convenience of the charging dock and comfortable ergonomics are also appreciated. However, some users have reported concerns about potential stick drift and the controller's smaller size, while others note the absence of NFC functionality.

i bought this controller to us for playing PC games, so i can't speak to usage on Switch, but i am thoroughly pleased with this comfortable, quality feeling controller.

Probably one of the smoothest controllers for a small price I have put my hands on. 8bit did the job right and I appreciate this controller. Oh, it runs on Linux too. Also, weight is nice in the hand

The quality is great. The controls all feel great except finding the right button is challenging. Would love the plus and minus buttons to have plus and minus shapes that you can feel and have them closer to the joycon locations. Even the abxy buttons get miss presses because of the small size of the controller. Documentation is not good and it was really challenging to find the right support software. Had an issue with phantom trigger presses that after I finally found the support software I was able to resolve. Still have not figured out how to keep and use the customization that the software let me set up.

PC Gamer here… In the last several months, I have bought and played on: 3 x Xbox Elite Series 2, 1 x Scuff Envision Pro, 2 xScuff Instinct Pro… None compare to thr 8BitDo in ergonomics, ease of use and especially ergonomics. The “Hall Effect” sticks are as good as advetised and so far drift free… the only thing I’d like to see added to this controller is adjustable hair triggers, but with the software dead zone adjustment, I honestly don’t mind them the way they are. A++++++

Decent controller, have some issues but it's mostly from a preference stand point, such as how squish the trigger buttons feel. But the charging station and wireless connection have been a boon since my last controller was wired. Works well without the proprietary program.

I absolutely love this controller. After being frustrated with PC compatibility with PlayStation controllers (as well as for how fast they develop stick drift) I found this guy to replace my broken Xbox controller. The dedicated USB dongle keeps latency low, and the hall effect sticks won't ever develop that nasty drift. Takes a little time to get used to the slightly different shape, but not a deal breaker.

I bought this controller for the hall effect joysticks. I've had 2 switch pro controllers, several joycons and even an Xbox elite controller all suffer from stick drift. I'm using this controller for playing on the switch. I really like the look and feel of this controller. The buttons are responsive. The only somewhat quirky thing about this controller is waking the switch from standby. There is a home button but hitting that alone won't wake the nintendo. You have to hit the home button and then tilt the controller up and then back down... seems odd but works.

Should be a little larger especially Since it includes the back buttons but not bad overall. Would recommend. Kind of hard to get it to work on the Switch 2 as well.

Very good controller. I use it for my switch and it works perfectly. As for the switch 2 it didn’t pair but I’m sure there is a firmware update out or on the way.

Hall effect, look no further for your PC controller options. Hands down the best controller I have owned for a PC, all Xbox or PlayStation brand controllers ALWAYS get stick drift, NOT WITH HALL EFFECT sticks which are used on the 8BitDo - Ultimate Bluetooth Controller for Nintendo Switch and Windows PCs

The controller works perfectly. There's no issues with it. has hall Effect triggers and joysticks, which helps make them last longer. So you don't get stick drift the bluetooth is worth the extra money over its 2.4ghz little brother and this one still has the 2.4ghz if needed the stand for it to charge gives it a nice resting spot while having the controller always ready to go besides that the battery life on it is amazing so not an issue if you forget to put in dock

I needed a new controller because my last one (ps4 controller) was having connectivity problems. To say I have been very happy with this controller would be an understatement. Also I have had it for months now and have had no problems.
