You get a controller with hall effect sticks (that won't develop drift after a month or two), Bluetooth, 2.4ghz and a charging station all for a great price.
Worth picking up if you just want a good quality PC or switch controller that will last.

Very nice controller. I’ve had the Sn30 Pro for a few years and it was great besides having serious issues syncing with the Switch. This works much better and the dock is a really nice touch. It’s been great so far.
I haven’t tried it on a PC/Mac or Android device yet. Mine is mainly for the Switch. This is the best Switch controller outside of the Nintendo Pro and it loos cool too. Great quality like everything else I’ve had from 8Bitdo.

Honestly love it! Was looking for a cheaper alternative to the switch pro controller and honestly for 20 bucks less this is as good if not better. Build quality is great and every button and joysticks feels rock solid. Plus the fact that it comes with a dock charger is a godsend.

8bitdo has made a solid easy and user friendly controller that removes the suspicion of if your joy sticks will start to drift etc. This controller features hall effect joysticks that just seamlessly move so freely. I absolutely love this controller it feels better then orginal switch controller and some other controllers. 100% would reconmend to anyone whos looking for a universal controller with paddles

I’d like this controller because it has a charging dock and you can plug it into your computer. If the battery dies I like how the batteries built in it last a good amount of time and this controller works great with steam and Xbox PC games it has the Xbox Buttons. I think it’s better than the controller by Microsoft.

As you can see from the title of this review I really REALLY like this controller. It pairs easily to my switch and with a flip of a switch it pairs to my pc. The hall effect thumbsticks are great and even after a month I still have ZERO stick drift. Now, with this being the NINTENDO SWITCH lay out you HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE ON YOUR PC in order for it to work like an xbox controller on your pc. It only took me 2 tries to get it down and now everything is perfect. (One to flip x y b a and one to map the back buttons) The best part for me personally is the charging dock because oh my goodness does it feel so cool just slappin it on there watching the bar light up indicating its charging. It kind of makes it look like an otem you use in the end game to beat the big bad boss lol.

It kinda makes you scratch your head because this controller feels much more premium than what they're charging for. I love the textured feel it has but it doesn't "feel" textured. It grips really well. Couple things to get used to is that it isn't as wide as other controllers so it feels a little weird at first. If you've got really big hands you may come across a little bit more fatigue than say an xbox or actual nintendo controller. However, you get used to it super quick and it feels amazing. Triggers are wonderful. It is super nice in every respect and plus... you get a charging dock and it is super convenient to use. You'll regret not buying it.

Love how it feels! Bought it for my switch 2, did not realize I had to update the drivers for it to work. Remember to update the adapter and controller if youre also using it for switch 2!

Been using this controller for a few weeks now and gotta say I'm in love with it. The hall effects joysticks are wonderful. The ergonomics feel great on the controller as well. The only real complaint I have is that the face buttons are in the Nintendo orientation, but I rarely ever have to look down at my controller personally so it doesn't bother me all too much. I love the fact that the controller automatically starts connecting as soon as you take it off the charging dock as well as turning off when you place it back on, very handy feature.

If you are a PC controller gamer like me then this is a must have. Never really knew about these but was tired of spending money on X-box controller that never lasted and had connection issues at every turn. Enter the 8BitDo. It is very nice and from what i understand you can't get joystick drift on these. Love the recharge stand feature for these. I have only had for about a month but not one issue so for with it! Got this for my desktop PC and even bought another for my laptop. And the price for these compared to X-box controllers is so nice!

I recently updated my PC to a gaming laptop and found that I was frustrated with my old school keyboard-and-mouse controls. This controller definitely upped my experience. It was quick and easy to connect and works flawlessly with my library of Steam games. It automatically wakes up when removed from the drop-in dock and goes to sleep when you put it back on the dock. Highly recommended!

This is a great controller for use on the PC. I haven't tried it on Switch yet. It was easy enough to get set up and get the software installed to properly configure it. I've used it to play some emulators and it's working perfectly. Feels well built for the price as well.
Maybe the best part is the charging dock. It's very convenient to just throw it on the dock when I'm done playing.

I picked up a handheld gaming PC, and I was about to link my series S controller to it for max compatibility, but then I was thinking, do I really want to have to keep changing the sync every time I swap between desktop, handheld, and console? I was also going to be travelling with my Switch, and didn't want to have to bring a controller for that as well. I also have recently been experiencing some drift with a couple controllers due to the way they are constructed.
Welp, all problems were solved with this controller. Since the dongle is in the dock, no matter what device it's plugged into, handheld (with it's own dock) or desktop, it gets recognized as an industry standard x-input controller. When I flip the switch on the back to BT mode, my Switch picks it up and it just starts working there. The only thing I have to remember is when I'm on PC, that the buttons are labeled wrong, but that's something that Steam can fix if the game supports it.
I grabbed this not only to make my life more convenient when travelling, but also for the hall effect sensor joystick technology. Shelling out over a half-yard, even upwards of a c-note on some, is not unheard of, and doing such on a controller with inferior tech that is destined for eventual joystick drift is such a waste of money to me. Since the tech in this controller can mitigate deterioration of that sort, it was obvious to me where to throw my shekels.
The controller itself is comfortable to hold. I get confused as to which of the middle buttons does what, but that's on me since I swap between devices so often.

I've used Xbox controllers as long as I can remember and this is a really good alternative for the price. The build quality is super solid and all of the buttons and sticks feel pretty good too. The included charging dock and dongle are a big plus for the price. Solid 4.9/5. Just wish it came with a charing brick too but oh well. Most people have plenty of those laying around anyway
