I really didn't have much expectations for the 8Bitdo Wireless USB adapter; however, being able to pair a favorite controller (DS 4) and just use it on any computer, including my Raspberry Pi 4B+ is great. It's literally made it stupidly easy to pair and play any Bluetooth controller by emulating an Xbox 360 controller. I liked it so much that I decided to buy another one.

I purchased this product because i wanted to connect my PS4 and Xbox One Controller to my Nintendo Switch. So far It works Great! I can avoid having to use my Joycons when the switch is docked. Its really easy to use just plug it into the dock and connect the controllers via blue tooth!

Using this on my Switch (Docked) with my DualShock 4 controller. Save for the fact that I have to unplug it and plug it back into the dock most of the time before being able to sync my controller up, it works flawlessly with no lag at all. Worth it if you already have spare controllers and don't want to shell out for the official Switch Pro controller.

Bought this just to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised when using my PS4 controller on my switch! Great bluetooth dongle. Going try with my PC soon. However, I did have some minor hiccups getting my controller to connect.

Cheap and works but won’t connect to Xbox one that I could see. Use it without ps4 co troller on a udroid xu4 system and it works fine. Way cheaper that a wireless dongle that costs now like $80-100 if you could even find one.

Bought this to use my PS4 controller on the Switch and it works pretty well. Just have to press a few additional buttons and the controller links with the Switch quickly.

I purchased this item for my Nintendo switch console to pair my ps4 controller and works great I recommend this item if u all dont want to purchase a controller for ur Nintendo switch and have ps4 controller laying around

This little gadget works great! My kiddo is extremely pleased with this as he is now able to use an Xbox controller with his Nintendo switch.

honestly, it just works. Xbox one controller connected without issues. Now I can use one controller across multiple devices. Didn't work with a 3rd party wii u pro controller, but I didn't expect it to. This is perfect because the latest switch firmware let's you remap controls. Great device from a company that keeps improving with every product.

This item allows me to use my Xbox One controller on my Nintendo Switch. I got so tired of my joy cons drifting as well as losing connection while playing. Pair this adaptor with the new Switch update that allows button remapping and you’ve got yourself a perfect gaming session.

Originally got this thinking I could use it for my Dualsense, which unfortunately didn't work out. However, it's very good at what it's made for, which is retro controller connectivity.

Pretty much what I expected. Works very well for PS4 controllers. Only downside is that it doesn't work for every application but it does for most games.

Works well and as intended. Hooks to switch seamlessly and able to connect controller. There so issues here and there in terms of connectivity, but works well overall

Everything was as easy as advertised by 8BitDo. The only draw back was reconnecting to the PS4. It took me a while to figure out you need to use a USB cable and hardwire it to reconnect. After that it worked great again.

Make sure when you are updating the firmware that you press the button at the same time you insert into the usb slot. If the firmware from 8bitdo is open, it will automatically recognize the stick. If you do not press the button while inserting the usb stick, the frimware update program will not respond in any way. Also, make sure your xbox 1 controller is up to date through a wired connection with the new xbox accessories app. I was able to use this usb adaptor and an xbox1 controller to play games on steam on my pc. Occasionally I will have to remove the usb stick and replug it if the controller buzzes in and out of connection, but that only happens if I restart the computer. As a side note, the easiest way for me to make sure the controller was recognized in steam games was to launch them through big picture mode. You can minimize big picture mode in the background as well.

I’m using this on my Switch dock to connect the Dualshock 4 I have from my PS 4 Vibration and motion controls both work When plugging into PC to update the firmware, be sure to hold the sync button on the dongle - I had to do it on my Macbook at least

Definitely good for other controllers and other 8bitdo controller (minus the Pro + & Pro 2). Just requires a little work to know how use is all. :)

This little guy is awesome. You don't need to buy another controller when you have this. Because God knows nobody wander to buy another controller when you probably already have several around your house. Set up is super easy also.

Awesome adapter! I’m able to use my Xbox elite series 2 controller on my Switch and it is amazing! Connection is sometimes spotty and it can take a few minutes to connect at times.

This adapter is a gamers dream. I have been able to use it with nearly all the gaming controllers in my home. I am mostly using it to hook current Gen controllers to a retro pi. Works perfectly as long as you update the firmware.
