I bought this to replace missing cord. Works good.

There is only one thing that I would change in the design. That is Instead of making an adapter from 4.5mm to 7.4 with a 6" cord, make the change using a 4.5MM to 7.4mm with a connector not using a cord. Adding the additional 6" of cord adds to creation of a future problem with the cord kinking and possibly kinking and shorting out the cord!

Good replacement when you leave your other at the office.

A little expensive but it serves is purpose. Good luck

I had a very difficult time finding someone to help me find the product j needed.

I got a good price for this adapter - $20 discount. I had to purchase it to replace the adapter that came with my laptop. The original adapter had burnt out, I took it in for the Geek Squad to look at it and it was not working at all and not recharging my laptop. So far this one is working just fine, no problems at all.

I took my laptop computer to the Geek Squad and they were able to identify the problem as being the charging cord. The rep actually went out into the store and brought me what I needed. My computer is working great.

Bought this adapter to keep in my computer case for convenience. Chose the OEM adapter because I have come to trust HP; and I've had a bad experience with an after-market unit. No worries. HP was the way to go.

My wife's laptop got knocked off of her desk and it bent the stem that goes into the power jack. We sent to Best Buy and thought we'd end getting some generic substitute. They actually had the brand name replacement.

It does charge the laptop, but it is so loose that it sometimes drops out

Very close to OEM charger with the exception of the chord being slightly stiffer and more prone to twisting. Good price point for what it essentially is... A backup to the charger you left at home in the process of packing frantically to get out of town on a business trip you forgot you had.

It's always nice to get something that is from the same manufacturer as your laptop. The old power supply stopped working, went in, bought an exact replacement off the shelf, and boom! back in business.....

This adapter comes with the exact connector I needed to fit my daughter's HP laptop. For some reason, we hadn't found a universal adapter that worked. We finally found this one, in stock, and it works great!!

Needed a power supply for my hp all in one computer , had to buy one for a laptop but it works ok. i needed the geek squad to test mine and find out i was bad as the computer has always given me trouble.

My grandson lost his power supply. He spent the weekend with us, and we bought him another one so he could keep on computing. The HP clerk in the store was a big help In picking out the right one.

My laptop plug recently broke because it was the thin kind of plug, and I found this one as a replacement and it works just like the original! Plus it has an adaptor for the thicker plug if you need that instead!

I find the product sufficient for my replacement. I was very impressed with the Best Buy rep who assisted me. Providing information & choices on the products available and very friendly.

One came with the computer was not as well built as the one I purchased; thought it was a little costly; appreciate able to purchase a new one separately from the computer; customer service representative was very helpful as brought in the old one to get a new one

I panicked when my dog chewed up my HP laptop cord so I was happy to find this replacement cord at Best Buy.

My laptop was fine in the am, but by the pm, would not hold a charge....I was frantic! Turned out all I needed was this item, a new power adapter. No problems since purchasing this!
