As is typical, Best Buy came to the rescue. I thought I would have to wait a week or two for a replacement battery. Imagine my delight when there was a replacement right at the store. In less than 12 hours, I was able to get back to work. Thank you Geek Squad and Best Buy.

Don't buy non-HP for Power

It would literally spark and smoke when plugged in. My laptop was 1000.00 and there is no way I would use anything other than HP OR a high quality manufacturer brand for something so critical as power. The adapter with the kit is easy to use and I fit my older HP laptop too.
