The game is fun but I would suggest playing on another console the switch version has some performance issues

A Hat In Time is Mario in everything but name. For an independent game, it's an an incredibly well-crafted game. While it lacks that final touch of polish you'd get in a Mario game, the effort here from the developer is commendable. This is one of the best platformers not made by Nintendo.

I recommend “A Hat in Time” to all fans of 3D platformers. This game is more challenging than one might expect from its cutesy aesthetic. Speaking of which, the game is not so cutesy that it becomes annoying; it is genuinely and organically adorable. The humor is great, too. My only complaint—and this is specific to the Switch version—is the long load times.

A Hat in Time is a very enjoyable platformer that blends perfectly with the Switch’s controls! Fans of Mario will love the gameplay, as well as the charming characters and engaging story. A Hat in Time truly stands as one of my favorite video games, and is definitely a must-play for any fans of 3d platforming games!

This is a decent port of the game. There are some frame rate issues and long loading times but overall, it’s a super fun game!

A phenomenal game from the genius of Gears for Breakfast. If you grew up with the Gamecube, you'll be smacked in the face with nostalgia that you didn't even realize you had. It's whimsy, full of character, and downright a blast to play. You won't regret this title and I hope to see many more like it in the future.

It’s a amazing game I got it for a sale and I saw a video on it and it has amazing story and gameplay it’s a quick puzzle solving two player or one player game I would recommend one play the screen moves way better but two player is awesome to out of 5 I give it a 5

This is one of the few 3D platformers on Switch that even compare to Super Mario Odyssey. This game is incredible in every way. This is actually the second time I have bought the game because I originally bought it digitally on Steam, but I needed a physical copy because I love this game so much.

This is probably more Mario 64 than Banjo & Kazooie, but it's still an awesome game even when not compared to the greats. Charming and action packed - a quality title for all ages.

My son is a fan of Mario 3D world, and I got him “A Hat in Time” on digital when it was on sale in Nintendo. After completing the game, he rated it a 10. When I found out Bestbuy had a physical collection, my son wanted it, Though it has no inside art cover, it’s great to have a physical copy!

This game pays homage to the great 3D platformers from the N64 days. Strongly reminds me of a combination of Mario, Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo Kazooie. Lots of entertainment and fun, highly recommend!

A Hat in Time is a fun platform game. It is very cute and fun to play. With lots of fun levels and boss battles throughout the game. I would recommend this game to platform game fans.

I played this game originally when it first released on pc. I'm so happy it got ported to switch, where it feels right at home. The physical version is great as well for collectors!

Love the gameplay and storyline so far! The main character is easy to love the world's are jam packed and the things you need to do to complete areas varies. Love the actions she can make. Great buy.

Bought this game for the grandkids, they love it. Easy to follow, play and understand. Does offer some challenge as well, always looking to exercise their thought processes.
