Season 1 and 2 is together in this DVD. It's really a short season for both of them but the stories are great. I am watching this again. The narration from Anthony Call is very good.

Love love love this show! It is spooky and I enjoy the stories!

If you are like me then you enjoyed this show when it was on TV but weren't able to see it regularly. This DVD package is a great way to see seasons 1 and 2 at a very reasonable price. Like so many TV shows A Haunting is best viewed on DVD without commercial interruptions. You can tell where the commercial pauses are meant to be but they don't distract from viewing enjoyment when they occur. Due to the reasonable regular price and frequent sales I can easily recomend this Season 1 & 2 set. There is also a Season 3 set available. I wish this program had lasted longer than 3 seasons because it was/is a very unique and enjoyable program. The episodes portray re-creations of actual hauntings. The recreations are presented in a half movie, half documentary style with re-creations of the haunting events using actors. Unlike so many over the top Hollywood movies these episodes effectively portray the haunting events without resorting to distracting, sensationalist Hollywood style "special effects". Instead I find myself being drawn in to the retellings of the hauntings because they are so well done on this show. Don't miss this set if you enjoyed the show!

I LOVE this show. I'm a huge fan of true ghost stories and have watched a lot of them. This is by far the best. They act out a true stories of hauntings and demonic possessions and they do a great job! The acting is decent and the stories will give you chills. I think the narrator does an excellent job. His voice alone is creepy. Sometimes, the real families speak in shadow because they don't want you to know their identity, which you can't blame. What I also appreciate about the show is that they're only telling you the story. They're not necessarily looking to fix the problem, like other shows like Paranormal State, which I also love. So sometimes, at the end, they're right back where they started because they can't always get rid of the haunting or possession. If you truly love true ghost stories and can stand to have chills. I highly recommend this show.
