Since Nintendo couldn't fit the charger into that nice thin 3DS box they decided to sell it separately. With that being said 3DS owners have no choice but to purchase this product. I have to say, the extra long cord is awesome! *Hint: Price Match at Best Buy w/ eligible online retail store*

Not really much to explain here. Pretty much the same adapter that came with the original 3DS. If you own a New 3DS or New 3DS XL this is necessary and the price isn't too bad.

I go on several road trips, so I wish my local Best Buy had a car charger for the New 3DS. I ended up buying this one and then a car adapter with the wall outlet on it, so it works for my laptop as well. I have no complaints about this product. Love that the prongs collapse for easier storage!

It's nice to have an extra charging cable, especially if you are using a charging cradle for your 3DS. After buying my New 3DS, I was using my USB charging cable, but I bought this so I can use the charging cradle more easily (the wire is longer) and keep my USB cable for travel or the car.

Nothing fancy, it does the job. Hard to beat the price. I only wish it fit a little more snugly.

It sucks that it's sold separately but it's relatively cheap and a good charger.

I thought it wasn't a sound strategy for Nintendo to not include a charger with the New 3DS, but since you have to buy one, the officially licensed charger is the way to go. I had a 3rd party charger with my first 3DS and it didn't work as well as the Nintendo one.

Not a fan that it's not included in the new 3DX-XL, but it does it's job well.

This thing charges exactly what I need it to, when I need it to. This thing works great on my Nintendo 3DS!

Not much to say. The new 3ds XL doesn't come with a charger. This charges it.

plug it in and it will do the job. if you have lost yours this will replace it

This charger is made by Nintendo, so you know that you are purchasing the official product. It works perfectly and is definitely necessary if you purchased the New 3DS XL (as it is not already included in the box). Great quality and highly recommended!

This charger is for real and it not bootleg and it fully charges my 3ds

Not sure there is much else to say about the cable. Works as intended.

I consider this AC adapter versatile because it can be used with many of the DS consoles, making it not only convenient but efficient as well. This makes for hours of enjoyment (play another console while the one you were playing is recharging).

This is a standard charging cord. Only complaint I have is not necessarily with this product but the game unit itself. Not sure why the charging cord didn't come with the game system as the ones I purchased just a couple years before did.

Charger was in good condition and very easy to plug into the 3ds.

Saw it cheaper at target. Charges well. Love the fold away prongs.
