This AC adapter is needed on the newest generation of DSs because they do not come with one. It is the same as the previous models if you have one of them laying around.

i lost my charger and went looking online but the price was a little expensive. i saw best buy had a price match guarantee and bought it. the wire is long so you dont have to be near an outlet.

Does exactly what it's supposed to, but it's important to note that you NEED one of these (or something similar) for any of the New 3DS/3DS XL systems, as they are no longer included.

I think it is sad that you have to buy a charger, they used to come with everything you bought and a lot of times it breaks or whatever so it should always be included with the product

Reasonable price and it does what it supposed to do. Works great.

This is a must for the DS since it does not come with a charger. It's worked even after my my electrical switch short circuited with it still plugged in. It's light weight also.

This charger is a necessary accessory for those who either have never owned a 3DS and have just purchased the "New Nintendo 3DS XL" or who have had a 3DS and misplaced their charger.

This charger works just like the one that comes with the 3DS. All of the other cheeper options never work like the regular does based on what other ones I have used in the past.

just got a new 3ds and needed a charger ofcourse. would have been nice if the charger came with the console. nice cord length and the prongs folds in so u can store it flatly.

Was mad when I purchased a new Nintendo 3ds and it didn't come with a charger. Luckily I found it for a great price at Best Buy

It's necessary and it works. We can debate whether it should be included with the system, but just factor this into the price of a new system if you don't already have a charger.

The only thing i dont like is that the charging cable is a separate purchase from the 3ds xl. Other than than i am impressed with how fast it charges and the length of the cord.

I have bought other chargers before but this is the first time I have bought this type of charger. Works great and has a decent recharge rate. Glad I didn't buy a cheaper charger.

The only reason I bought this charger is because the NEW 3ds XL does not come with a charger. Works great. Built well. Would make a great replacement or extra charger.
