I like having an extra charger for travel and the official charger for the switch charges the fastest and is the only thing I've tried that the dock works with. The price is a bit too high though.

It's the OEM switch power/charger cable. This is an OEM replacement to the one that comes with your switch. Please get this one and NOT some aftermarket charger. Some aftermarket chargers have been know to cause damage to switches and the docks. Just buy this OEM cable!

I bought an additional adapter immediately after purchasing my Switch because it's pretty much a must, unless you intend on plugging and unplugging the one from your dock every time you plan on bringing your Switch anywhere for an extended period of time, It's a high quality plug, and the cord is plenty long. In my opinion, it's definitely worth the money.

I decided to spend the money on an actual Nintendo AC adapter for peace of mind, especially when the aftermarket stuff is only like 5 dollars cheaper. Well worth the money and it's an official Nintendo product! The cord is a little short, but nothing a little good extension cord cant fix!

It does what I need it for? I broke my original block but this one works like normal.

Must have! Best for on the go and travel. Too many times my kids ran their battery down and were bummed before buying this cord.

Good working charger for Switch. However, apparently you can easily use other USB-C charger and it should working fine with the undocked console. Ipad looks for compact for the purpose.

Needed a replacement charger and didnt want to buy a generic one. This is the dame one that comes with the non OLED switch

I thought the dock for my switch was broken cause it wasn't charging the device or hooking up to the TV. Turns out it was just the charging cable and once i purchased this, I've had no issues since. Great purchase, would recommend trying this first if someones dock stops working.

It’s official Nintendo. Why would you use a $5 power adapter on a $300+ device. Always buy official power adapters. 10 years down the road it will probably still work just as good.

Works just as the one that come with the game. We bought this at a time we misplaced the original but now that we have found the original, it’s nice to have one that stay connected to the base and one we can take with.

Offciail product that work perfectly. Bought because my console is from hong konk and the outlet was different from the us standards.

After losing the charger that originally came with my Switch, I made the mistake of buying a replacement charger not made by Nintendo. That charger was able to charge the switch in handheld mode, but would not charge the Switch while it was in the dock. The Nintendo branded charger works great and is worth the extra money!!

Solid charger for the Switch. Bit large but compatible with most electronic ac/dc outlets

Works perfectly, charges the Switch just as it were on the dock. The cord is pretty long too, and combined with a small stand for the Switch, it allows me to play a few games before heading to bed and still have it fully charged by the time I wake up.

Works great no problems. I bought my switch off of amazon but it was from Europe so I got a weird Adapter but was able to buy this one and works good.
