The battery life on the Nintendo Switch is great, but it won't last more than a couple of days if you play regularly. And disconnecting the power cord from the dock every time you leave for the weekend is just annoying. I'd recommend this as a day 1 purchase for any switch owner.

Its always good to get a spare AC Adapter. Especially so you don't have to unplug the one from your dock every time you wanna take the switch somewhere. Also, get Nintendo brand. No reason to take the risk on messing your battery up just to save a few bucks on a 3rd party.

I needed another charger in my household and decided to test my luck with this open-box purchase. I have had no problems so far and it has been almost a month since my purchase date.

It's the oem nintendo switch charger, just like the one that originally came with the system. For those of you dumb enough to forget your charger in a hotel room like i did.

For $30, you get this AC adapter that is licensed by Nintendo. There have been lots of stories where the switch is "bricked" from using third party AC adapters and cords, so this would be exactly what you're looking for in order to make sure your switch has no issues.

I use this for traveling so i dont have to beeak down the switch dock at home every time I leave with my switch and might need to charge it later. Works fine. I wish it was a little less bulky though.

Finally, it’s great to have an extra charger so that one can always be plugged in for my dock and TV play, and this extra is great for wherever I am for portable gaming.

I will not buy 3rd party accessories for gaming systems. I have always been left disappointed. So I bought a brand cord, and I am not disappointed. It's not let me down for 3 years.

I saw third party chargers for the Switch that were cheaper but when it comes to Nintendo, I swear by their official products. The charger does the perfect job of charging my Switch and makes things very convenient as far as not having to take out the main charger from the dock.

My son needed a new ac adapter for his Nintendo Switch. I purchase this one. He uses it everyday and it works fine. He loves his ac adapter.
