I love bringing my Swith place when I travel however I did always like when I had to go behind my tv and undo the power cable so I bought this second one and it is great to be able to just grab it and go.

Worth the price if you're always on the road and don't want to take part your home set up

After reading about poor alternative choices ruining Switches, thought I would go OEM. Haven't had to use this charger but nice to have a spare. I only wish Nintendo offered better sales.

I'm too paranoid to use a 3rd party AC adaptor for my Switch dock due to fear of bricking my Switch (though reports seem to indicate the dock being the issue, not the AC adaptor), so I always go with Nintendo licensed AC adaptors with my Switch docks. It's a tad expensive, but you get the peace of mind of knowing it works perfectly with the Switch and will charge fast enough to fill the battery even while in use.

Good investment can also charge everything with a type C

I always get extra power adapters for game systems. It's just a necessary thing. Great to keep near your away from tv play space. Easy to travel with. The price I paid wasn't bad. About average for such a thing.

This is the best and only option to charge your Nintendo switch, I bought the amazon choice charger and it lasted weeks, I should had saved that money if I would had gone with official Nintendo charger from the beginning.

Quality official nintendo adapter…nuff said. I dont want any third party adapters possibly overheating my switch so i chose the official nintendo adapter

Worked exactly as expected. My Switch was not charging because someone had bitten the end of my current charger cord. The item I needed was in stock at the store and I was able to recharge my Switch.

Bought this open box to power a secondary/spare dock that didn't come with an adapter. Has been holding up just fine!

Best buy to the rescue. My nephew lost his charger and could not play online with his cousins. Great quality replacement device even though it was open box, there were no issues with it

You already know if you need this, probably. It does exactly what you want... charge the Switch away from the dock. I used it on a recent international trip, and it was great! $30 for this feels like a lot, but it's Nintendo, so accessories are their thing.

Both of the people in my household have a Switch so we have double chargers or a doc and an extra charger in every room of the house.
