After a few weeks my base-model switch cord that came in the system box totally stopped working. I picked up one of these and haven't had any issues since.

With USB type c especially the switches stick with Nintendo brand don't go aftermarket. Works great and is the same as the one that comes with the system

I needed an extra adapter for other rooms in the house. Saves me from having to disconnect the adapter each time I move my switch from my living room to my game room.

My only complaint is that it isn't a USB C > USB C charger, but it charges the Switch just fine, always good to have in your bag when you want to charge it away from home.

Bought a second charger to be my travel charger. Had to ge tthe official one since the thrid party ones still worry me with the bricking issues

Very convenient to have when you just needed the charger and not the whole system. Used it on vacation.

Had to purchase 2 because they don’t come with this charging cord for the handheld display. Both kids use this daily and love it. Keeps it charging as advertised.

I decided to pick up an extra adapter for when I travel. It's the same one that is on the docking station, so it works the same. No issues

This is an a C adapter. You know what you’re getting, and you know that it’s going to be first quality because it is a first party Nintendo product.

It works! Haha! What more can I say, I use this with a usb-c dongle as a portable dock and it works flawlessly.

This is better than the knock offs. My kids broke those in two weeks because they hve to take the game everywhere they go.

I originally purchased a cheap 3rd party adapter to use while traveling for work. But upon going to use it found it did not work at all. This one works perfectly.

just got this for the house just in case I don't want to use the dock for the switch this is just a extra one for the house

Got this as an additional power source for my OLED Switch! So helpful to have while traveling!

untill i can get a second dock for the bed room. I move the switch between the living room, work and bedroom so having a second AC adaptor makes life that much easier.

Not much to say, but it works. I use it next to my bed so I can charge the Switch in my bedroom without needing to constantly move the adapter attached to the TV dock.

Same ac adapter that comes with the system so quality and reliability is what you would expect. But IMO it's a bit overpriced. It is handy to have as a spare for on-the-go or bedside charging and the convenience of not having to unplug the ac adapter that comes with the system. Especially if your setup makes it troublesome to disconnect & reconnect it.

Overall life saver no need to bring my dock with me or the charger for it when I can just carry this in my pack

While the plugs are USB type C, it can be hard to find a wall plug with enough power to charge and play the device at the same time. A little pricier than just a cable, but never have to worry about it turning off while plugged in.
