I wanted a charger to keep in my bag. Does the job as expected but is a little bulky. Gives some reassurance going first party with the issues some third party chargers have created with switch batteries.

Nice to have a spare charger so I can keep one connected to the dock. Charges quick and can be used for a phone if needed.

I bought my Switch in 2018 so the original adapter lasted for 4 years...I was hoping it would last longer than that but it's fine. I guess it was because of the material it was made out of that it just suddenly stopped working. This adapter feels much different from my first one (in a good way) and so far I'm loving it! Hopefully this one can last more than 4 years lol

During the pandemic, The Switch was hard to find at a decent price. I found one in Europe for normal price and ordered it. Yay! Forgot about the outlet difference. Oops! Quickly ordered and recieved this and have had no problems! Best Buy for the win!!

3rd cord i bought so far, just because it's a pain to crawl under the entertainment centers when trying to take it with me. The travel use cord is holding up extremely well and doesn't show any wear as of yet, and USB-C is so much better than previous incarnations, if only for the fact that it's almost impossible to plug it in the wrong way (which helps keep it in tact, since you don't have to twist it around trying to find the proper way to plug it in) If only it wasn't so expensive

Bought mine on launch day and have alternated using it as a standalone charger and a dock plug and in all situations it works. As it should, seeing as it’s the official Nintendo version.

the cord is not super long, so keep the in mind. however, it is very well built and a must have if you plan to use the console in portable mode and you don't want to have to disconnect the charger from the dock

Nothing beats the Original! For me personally i always use the original products from the manufacturer. Charged my switch and controller fast and worry free unlike from 3rd party products!

Mainly bought for using the original dock hooked to second TV. Portable nature of the Switch encourages you to play the game wherever you happen to be. But the expensive second dock set makes it hard to connect the Switch if you have multiple TVs in the house. I bought this so I can easily move the dock to multiple TVs in my house and not bother with hassle of unplugging power, HDMI, etc., every time i moved the dock - just keep every cable/wire plugged in and un-hook the dock if i want to game in another room.
