OK if you need it...

But I have 2 complaints: -it's $30! Come on Nintendo. The Switch is really a handheld. I find most of the accessories' MSRP for the Switch to be too high. -this one may not be fair, but I honestly think the cable should be USB into the adaptor, and users should he able to swap it. I mean they took the step of making the cable usb-c, which is pretty universal. Why not allow me to charge other devices? I realize it wasn't advertised to do that, but it seems like something that could have been easily included. Especall for that price point.

Perfect replacement, but a little expensive.

This replacement was purchased because of that. It’s identical to the unit the Switch shipped with, so it’s function is exactly the same. Charges my Switch in or out of the dock exactly as expected.
