Not a lot needs to be said about this product. It's a plug. It supplies power to the Nintendo Switch. It works. I sometimes play my Switch in handheld while my wife plays on the TV so if we're playing for a long stretch and my Switch starts losing power and I need to give it some juice, I plug this AC Adapter into the wall and then I can hook my Switch up and continue to play. Nothing more or less to it. Just like plugging in your phone and continuing to use it while it charges.

The Nintendo Switch has some odd power draw specifications, even when being charged in handheld mode. So while it can technically be charged using any USB-C charger, it’s a very good idea to use an official Nintendo charger that can provide the exact charging profile that the Switch wants. If you are planning to charge your Switch outside of the dock, this is a must-buy!

My son takes his Nintendo Switch when we travel, its nice to have a spare charger so we don't have to disconnect the one that we use on the base station.

Needed an extra charger because I did not want to keep unplugging the dock. I went with the official Nintendo one since many of the reviews for others are full of horror stories. It is kind of expensive for what it is but at least I know my console is safe and tnat it can provide enough power to charge it while playing. I only wish the cord was slightly longer.

Works great and really fast! My son had a different charger before I actually bought him the Nintendo 1 and it didn’t work too well but this 1 I’ll give 5 stars maybe 10 if there was a button ☺️☺️

Yea. Of course it works as a replacement. I tried other off brands that did not function properly or got hot. At least Nintendo doesn't try to charge double or triple what it is worth for a charger like some other companies that use fruit as their logo.

Barges devices and joycons as you use it. If you plan on using the switch in bed or away from your dock for more than a couple hours this is a must.

It works perfectly. I didn't had any problem, so I do recommend to get the original Adapter for nintendo
