Stay away from 3rd party chargers!

No.You want to preserve that battery and get the best power output. This Charger also works in docked mode, which a lot of other chargers don’t.

I know it’s possible to rig a cheaper alternative, but I don’t want to risk damaging something as expensive as my Switch with an adapter that doesn’t deliver quite the right amount of power.

Works perfectly and combined with my new battery pack I can play on the go and never run out of juice!
