This is a terrible product. It turns on, but good luck getting to change any settings. I called the company and they said if I did not buy it directly from their company they could not help. I think the very few times it allowed me to change a setting it was fine, but out of 20 tries it worked maybe 3 times.

The day I received this device I jammed my shoulder walking into the house trying to be superman with a bunch of groceries. Perfect timing. I went from literally not being able to lift my arm all the way up to regaining 90% full motion by that night. I use the app normally because it's easy to use and really intuitive. Each function has 60 dfferent levels of intensity. I will say I started way too high intensity on the TENS setting. It goes thru a couple taps and then a long shock, it felt like I was being electrocuted. Almost bought me to my knees. I learned my lesson pretty quickly. I've been enjoying the massage setting on my ailing knees and it seems to really help. Very good affordable buy here.

Love the freedom of wireless electrotherapy!

Wireless electrotherapy is a game changer! I’ve had traditional wired EMS units, but offering TENS, EMS, and massage with wireless portability gives me the freedom to walk around and do other things while treating myself at the same time. TENS is used for pain relief, EMS for muscle stimulation, and massage offers a kind of virtual massage with electric impulses that’s surprisingly effective at times. EMS works just as well as the wired versions I’ve used. I had my doubts about the strength, but the little pads are very effective, with a full charge averaging about 2 hours of use and strong impulses. The strength can go up to 60, but 30 was my limit. What’s great is that it only takes like 20 minutes for it to fully recharge again, so downtime is minimal. I also really love how you can control it with either the supplied remote or with your phone through their app. Both are responsive and work well, but the app has a few extras like ideal placement pictures for attaching the pads. What makes the AccuRelief an absolute pleasure to use is how well thought out it feels. Whether it’s the remote or phone app, wirelessly connecting to the wireless pads is automatic and instantaneous. Even my father, who doesn’t read a thing and just fumbles with buttons, is able to use this device without a hassle. That speaks to me. The only thing I wish this kit came with is a little bag or case to store the wireless pads and sticky pads in. I can find my own, but it would be a great touch to an otherwise excellent pain relief device. If you’re interested in TENS, EMS, or even the virtual electric massage, I highly recommend this unit. It’s small, easy to use, and works great.

I have chronic neck and back pain from a car accident years ago. This tens unit has multiple intensity levels and various types (kneading, tapping, etc.), plus many preprogrammed selections for neck, back, legs, shoulder and arm. The best features of this unit, compared to others I've owned are the pads, which are very sticky but don't leave any residue, and that the pads are completely wireless which is so convenient for moving while being hooked up to the unit. I could not get the phone app to work with the unit, but the remote control works so well, I probably would not use it anyway so don't see a need. The only recommendation for the company would be to include a pouch to keep the unit and pads in. Other than that - I really like this TENS unit and use it daily.

The AccuRelief Electrotherapy 3 in 1 device is great for relieving pain on sore muscles, plus the device has 3 different functions that sets it apart from other Tens units. Inside the box you have the remote control, the electrode device, 2 sets of gel pads and a USB charging cable to charge the electrode device. The electrode is wireless and can either be used with a companion app or the included remote, but more on that later. The included instructions are well written and easy to follow, plus they also include a nice muscle map for recommended gel pad positioning. The unit has 3 different modes of therapy; the first one is the Tens pain relief that sends electrical pulses to relieve pain. The second one is muscle stimulation, this mode contracts and strengthens the muscle to stimulate it and give good blood circulation. The third one is the massage mode, which has 3 different massage modes inside this mode (tap, knead and rub). You can control the wireless electrode with the included remote, or for a more detailed and better experience you can use the mobile app. The mobile app is decent, but desperately needs an update. For starters, if you have an iPhone made in the last 4 years, then you’ll notice the app doesn’t support the full screen, which is fine, but still would be nice to fit the screen. The app does manage to get a lot of things right though, for instance the layout looks nice and it’s easy to navigate. There are tons of useful information in the app, like tips and a more detailed muscle map. Plus, I love how there is an auto lock once the unit begins, so you don’t accidentally push something. Using the app is far better than using the included remote, because everything has a more detailed view and explanation. As for the experience of the unit. I found the AccuRelief to be very effective for me. I love the 3 different types of massages it offers, and the Tens mode does a great job at pain relief. The unit is powerful and gets very intense, which is great for working those sore muscles. I did have an issue with the gel pads not sticking to my skin after the first use though. I am really impressed with how simple they make it to use the unit, they give you plenty of detailed instructions both in the box and in the app. The included remote did manage to freeze up on me once, but after turning it off and on it seemed to work again. Overall, I am really impressed with the 3 in 1 AccuRelief. The wireless electrode with Bluetooth built-in makes it easier than ever to get a great Tens pain relief without all the wires surrounding you. The 3 different massage modes all work differently, and each has its own benefit. The included remote is nice, if you don’t want to use your phone, but the best experience is with the app. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone.

I have used a TENS unit when going through physical therapy and I can say this unit is a good home option. It's straight forward and has provided pain relief for my lower back and neck area. The biggest inconvenience is needing to charge the diodes, but that is much better than having two wires plugged into an oversized machine for home use. This is perfect for those that need the pain relief and do not have the space or do not want to allocate the space for a traditional tens unit. In addition, this can be taken with you to work or anywhere you are going just in case you need it, just make sure you charge up the diodes. The same cannot be said for a traditional TENS unit.

This is a cool little device and it does in fact help with pain throughout the body. It includes a remote control of sorts which is optional since the app you can download is much more useful and intuitive. The remote is there as more of a backup. This device uses electronic pulsating exercises to travel to the nerve and help to alleviate pain in certain parts of the body. I used it on my neck and it did help to loosen the pain up. I have constant back issues and I tried it on there as well, although a bit cumbersome. It is a little nerve racking to hook up electro pulse to body parts but this seems to be a safe device and one that is approved to use.

A quick start guide was one of the first things I noticed upon getting the box open so I thought I’d dive right on in. This was a mistake. The ‘quick guide’ instructions were vague and I was unable to get the device to work. However, once I read the full instructions and fully charged the device, I had little problems getting it to work. It left me with the question as to why they had a ‘quick start guide’ when the device needed charging before use. The TENS device can be controlled by either a free downloadable app or an included remote (batteries included). Currently I can’t get the app to work. The download was easy and the pairing happened, but the app only indicates that the device is ‘disconnected’ and I need to check Bluetooth connection. I’ll continue to work on this, I’m sure it’s user error not the app itself. The remote itself isn’t particularly intuitive but is easily ‘picked up’ and simple to use. As for the actual ‘work’ the TENS device does, it is very effective and versatile. One can cycle through various options and ‘intensities’. I’ve used professional devices before and this is very similar though notably lower in power (I presume the many warnings/disclaimers in the instructions are the reason). I found the ‘work’ being done by the device only became Un-ignorable at 7/10 and my ‘sweet spot’ was 8-9 out of 10. I used the device on my lower back which has relatively few sense receptors and that could be a factor (compared to say the wrist or shoulder). The adhesive pads are easy to place and are very secure (I had to leave them on for a few hours while the TENS device charged). Easy and painless to remove and appears to have plenty of adhesive left to justify the ‘reusable up to 30 times’ claim. Overall, I find the machine a good value and believe the reduction in pain and the length of time my back pain will be inhibiting my life well worth the money.

My teenage daughter is a dancer that frequently has sore or stressed legs, shoulders or back. I recently introduced her to this AccuRelief TENs unit to see if she can recover quicker and feel better in general. To my surprise, she liked using the TENS unit - especially on her back! One thing to note, is that there definitely is a learning curve to figure out the right placement for the 2 electrodes that come with the unit. You'll want to play with the position until you feel the right muscles being stimulated. A more precise guide and/or pictures could possible help with this. I have controlled the device with both my included handheld remote as well as the iPhone app. The App seems to have more options with it and I recommend using that as your primary control method. The unit is wireless (there are many other wired units on the market) which allows you to move around easier. I like to use it on my back while I'm sitting at my desk. Overall, if you're looking for a portable TENs unit, give this a try and see how you like it!

Wireless is better with your smartphone

The wireless nature of the this is very nice. The pads recharge via a USB cable and connect to either the included controller or your phone via bluetooth. I used this with both the wireless controller and the iPhone app. While both worked just fine, I found it much easier to use the app. You can navigate the options simply enough with the controller, but rather than having to repeatedly tap the same button to cycle through options, the app allows you to select the option with one tap in the right area of the screen. It also takes longer to move up through the intensity levels on the controller. You have to wait longer between button presses for the next one to register than you have to wait between taps on the phone screen. Also, once you have selected the intensity level, it locks into place. The only way to change the level on the controller is to stop it and start over from scratch, while you can unlock the settings on the phone app and change intensity on the fly. The only problem I found with the app is that when your phone screen automatically turns off during a session, you have to click back through the warning messages to get back into the app before you can send the pads any commands. You can stop the session instantly by removing one of the pads (it will sense a loss of resistance and automatically shut off), but otherwise, it will take some time before you can adjust anything. There is quite a bit of difference between the three types of sessions (tens, ems, or massage) and the intensity of the charge will be very different for each type. Not sure I got a whole lot from the tens mode, but the ems mode will give pretty strong muscle contractions. You can fine tune the intensity of the charge very precisely, and it's interesting how there's a discreet threshold that impacts muscle response that changes depending on the muscles being targeted. The massage mode is very interesting in the way it can provide different effects and make your muscles respond in different ways. Personally, I think this is mostly valuable to me for the ems mode, strengthening muscle groups that would be hard to isolate without special exercise equipment. Muscle response is also very sensitive to pad placement. The pads stick well to clean, dry skin, but the sessions themselves would cause me to start sweating, making the pads lose adhesion as the session progressed. It was easy to use the pads for multiple sessions by storing them on the plastic film between sessions. They retained or regained their stickiness quite well, even if they had previously gotten "moistened" by sweat. I won't predict any particular health benefits from using this, but it does achieve muscle response quite reliably.
