I started playing this series with Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation and have remained a fan ever since, I recommend buying this one because it doesn't disappoint and scratches my air combat itch. It's strikes a balance between realism and arcade gameplay, you can adjust the difficulty and also offers a variety of plane types. I have spent over a hundred hours playing it and had a lot of fun. I love the graphics and sound effects, there is nothing like a plane exploding when you hit it with a missile or bullets. The controls take a while to get used to, but you can also change the control scheme. I don't have anything negative to say except the AI can be erratic at times.

Haven't played the series in quite some time. Visuals are really good and the game play is fun, but can be a bit tough in some areas. MP matches are actually fun, but kind of hard to master. Overall pretty good game.

This game is incredible. The sound, the graphics even the story is interesting at times. I love fighter jets so maybe I'm a bit biased but this game is just fun to go in and blow up stuff!

Love this game series. Story is always good. Som emissions are just too long and no real way to know how much further until a save or completion.

Love the game it’s extremely fun and enjoyable. Easy to play too. Only problem is to play multiplayer you must have Xbox live

Despite not being optimized for the One X, this game looks and plays fantastic. Controls are tight, visuals are stunning, and most of all it's a fun ride.

Most fun I’ve had with a game in a long time. Highly recommend picking up the T.hotas flight stick with this game.

...and better than ever. Its so nostalgic playing AC again. I have played and loved previous iterations and ill add this to my list. As expected, graphics are fantastic with unique gameplay. There are many games like this in the genre and this game really does what it does very well. Easy to pick up and play at the same time, you can challenge yourself by tweaking the controls and difficulty for a more simulator vibe than an arcade feel.

next console flying/dogfight game.. the graphics are mind blowing.. very linear gameplay.. multiplayer is intense

Great Game for Us Mile High Freaks. Definitely worth 20$

I am not a "gamer" just a casual player. I have always liked flight sims and this one is nice. Graphics are good and the flight characteristics are good as well. I would like the option to choose my aircraft rather than earning points and having to “buy” different planes. (Again, the casual player.) The dialog runs a little long for me and I will skip it up to the mission briefings. So far, I like the game, but want all the aircraft and weapons now.

Everything about this game is just phenomenal graphics weather when you're going through a cloud how beats Rain on your canopy of the jet. The realistic flight model just everything about the game is A+++ also I love how you have other jets that you can research to buy and then utilize for specific ground missions or air to air missions or use a multi-role fighter for air and ground missions. It definitely is an awesome fun game

The graphics are great and flying in combat is fun. I bought the game to improve my hand-eye coordination and gaming skills so that I can hang with my kids. The controls on this game will really challenge you at first. Playing is not only entertaining but really does improve coordination.
