I bought this for my 85-year-old step father.... He struggles with his old computer, but can figure out his Android phone just fine. This is perfect for him- he needs to keep one or two things downloaded on it, but the bulk of his usage is cruising the internet, checking email, playing Candy Crush, and tracking Baseball scores. I'm not Chromebook Savvy, so we had to figure it out together, but the interface is mostly * intuitive for those of us who are used to Windows.... though obviously more limited. For the price though, it cannot be beat. I am thinking of buying one for myself for travel, so I don't have to bring my expensive laptop with me all the time.

Lightweight and perfect for browsing the web, zoom meetings, and chatting. Battery life is good, don't plan on using it to store too many things as there is only 32 GB of storage available.

High school daughter loves it. Before it arrived she thought it would be too small, but she started using it and thinks a great size. Its a great laptop for the price.

I have been a Chromebook user for at least 10 years. The last one I purchased was an Acer Chromebook in 2018. It has been an excellent machine. Last Spring I decided that it was time to start looking for a newer model, so this August I stumbled onto this new Acer Chromebook. Based on my experience, it was exactly what I was looking for & it was on sale. Just like my original Acer, this machine is a great little computer and I'm happy to recommend Acer Chromebooks to anyone looking for an uncomplicated, good working PC.

This 11-inch Chromebook ticks a great many “positive boxes”, such as: - Thin and light - Excellent build quality; it feels like it could absorb more than a few bumps - Unbelievably low price! - Wonderful responsive and non-flexing keyboard, almost as good as those seen on premium machines - Responsive track pad - Fast charging and excellent battery life - Ports aplenty, with 2 each type A and C, headphone jack and SD card slot What you don’t get for this budget price, however, includes: - Only opens to 180 degrees; not a convertible - No touch screen, no digitizer for using an active stylus - Serviceable, but not great display - Speakers also are just OK The Intel Pentium CPU is powerful enough to keep e-mail, document management, and web browsing functioning without a hitch. Some Android programs do take a long time to open, and will occasionally stutter. For someone who does not need (or want) to have a touchscreen or to use a stylus, this machine can do all the standard Chromebook things very well. I could imagine a student who needs to type for long periods of time would be very happy with this little device. I did have some trouble using Word and Excel, as I could not open the web-based versions of these programs. I was directed to open the Android versions from the Play Store, and these did not function well. I have not had that problem with other Chromebooks. The solution for now is just to use Google Sheets and Docs for simple document management. For the money, this Chromebook 311 is an excellent value proposition. Just make sure you are not foregoing features that you will miss later.

Good sized laptop, charges with either USB-C port and you also get 2 full-size USB ports one on each side of the device. The keyboard is also decent which surprised me. The downside would be the display the resolution is ok but for some reason it gives me a headache during use which doesn't happen on my devices. It forced me to return it.

Good choice for an affordable and highly portable chromebook. Small size and light weight makes it easy for on the go use. Much faster than I thought it would be with a Celeron processer. Chrome with the ssd doesn't really need serious hardware for basic internet, email, or streaming. You can also do some good application work just keep in mind the limited storage of 32G. Mine shows 13.4Gb used by the system leaving 18.6Gb free but you can obviously use cloud storage or microSD or flashdrive as well. This is my first chromebook but I've had several android phones and tablets so it was easy to adapt. (I'm normally a windows user for computers.) No touchscreen but that's ok with me as I prefer to use a keyboard and mouse/touchpad. Keyboard and touchpad seem good quality and it makes my tablets a bit obsolete for me. I prefer to connect a mouse which works fine. It has two standard usb ports and two usb c type (either one of which is used for charging). Won't replace my gaming laptops for serious gaming but should handle most apps from the Playstore. Great portability and internet use, you can easily take it almost anywhere. Kind of wish the screen was a bit bigger as the bezels are a little large but not too bad. Good price, if you want a highly portable chromebook this is a good choice.

A fabulous deal. Fulfills all needs and expectations. I bought it very recently, so it's too early to judge the battery life, but that has never been a problem with my previous Chromebooks. Speed is excellent, far better than with an inexpensive Windows PC. And any updates are over in a couple of seconds, unlike Windows.

This is the perfect Chromebooks. There are more luxurious Chromebooks. There are more expensive Chromebooks. There are Chromebooks with more features, but this Chromebook represents what made Chromebooks popular. It is fast, affordable, simple, and well made. It is a good choice. You will be happy with it.

Based on the price point, you get a little more than what you paid for. Speed is adequate and functions well for regular daily functions. The screen clarity is surprisingly good and it provides a higher degree of satisfaction than I might have thought. I am very happy with the purchase.
