My Acer Chromebook was quick and easy to setup and use

The Acer Chromebook 311 comes in a very compact and lightweight package. It weighs in at less than 2.5 lbs and is 0.71 inches thin. Build quality is decent though mostly plastic but I can’t complain at this price point. It has 2 USB Type C ports which I like. Screen is 11.6 inces. Internal storage is 32 GB and is powered by an Intel Celeron N4000 Dual-Core Processor. It is fast enough to do your basic tasking like stream movies, watch YouTube, web surfing and some light gaming. It is also quite snappy doing those basic things and battery life overall is good. I would recommend this if you’re on a budget or even just looking for something fast and light for on the go or even for a child as their first laptop that won’t break the budget.

The computer came in good shape, overall everything works perfectly fine on the computer only thing is that is doesn't have some apps and i can't change my wallpaper but i was able to change my lock screen. But i do love the computer and the price was the reasonable.

Finally a chromebook that does it all! web browsing is fast, you tube is fast. Its like an extension of my samsung tablet. For the $ I paid, it was well worth it!! Basic word processing and google docs application were also great.

There is a lot packed into this Chromebook. Many features coming together to create an all around user friendly experience that I found to be both useful and productive. It actually lives up to its description, which is rare. Two Usb-C ports, two USB 3.1 ports, headphone jack and even a micro-sd card reader. All the necessary inputs are here. Booting speed and processing speed are fast enough for my needs. No noticeable lag or extended loading times in all the applications I ran. No issues here. Screen is 1366x768, but at this size, Netflix and Youtube look great. The speakers may lack depth, but they are loud and clean enough for media viewing without the need for headphones. My video calls also look great and were a breeze to set-up with no connection issues. The camera has a wide angle and is on par with other models in this class. Definitely good enough for any video calling needs. The battery has been great so far. I’ve had mixed usage for several hours on end and have only needed to charge out of habit vs. necessity. Being that this is technically part of the Android/Google universe, it was a nice bonus that my Note 20 Ultra synced up automatically via my Google account. I have several Windows machines that attempt to do this, but keeping a steady connection can be challenging. So far, I’ve not had any issues with keeping the link intact. Helps productivity for sure. For the gamers, many of my Android games play just fine. And Stadia runs great! This is one of the main reasons I wanted this unit, and it doesn’t disappoint. The size is perfect for portability and easily fits into any workbag with the slim form factor. The body feels a bit fragile, but after several bump and go moments, it has proven to be fairly sturdy. I feel confident tossing in the bag and heading out without a second thought. The only downside I have is the “introduction” videos on what to download/use show some features that aren’t compatible with this model. I know these are typically stock vids for all Chromebooks, but that should be curated a bit more carefully. There are also a handful of PLAY apps that aren’t compatible with this model. That’s a bit disappointing being this is supposedly up-to-date, but not enough to mark it down a star. I am enamored by this little companion, and for under $250, I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enter into the Chromebook arena.

Gets the job done. My stepson dropped his original chromebook off his bunk bed(we have a triple decker bunk bed and he’s on the top) so we had to replace it.

THESE CHROMEBOOKS ARE NICE. I DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS CELERON WHEN I GODT AND I ONLY USE I3 OR HIGHER. IT WAS A CUTE LITTLE THING.

The Chromebook 311 is a decent budget laptop. If you are looking for a great, high resolution display and great sound, then this Chromebook is NOT for you. The display is adequate but not visually stunning and the speakers are on the bottom and work fine but the sound is not really impressive. So, who is this Chromebook for? The answer is people on the go who need a relatively low cost laptop. It is quite small, lightweight, and very portable. It is just a little bit bigger than a 10.2 inch tablet. It easily fits in a small bag or backpack. It has a long battery life of up to 10 hours. It boots up quickly, in under 10 seconds and is very responsive and can handle multiple open tabs and apps. It works well with Zoom meetings or Google Duo video chats. The keyboard is small but the keys are responsive and it also has a good sized trackpad. It has 32gb of internal storage, of which about 13gb is taken up by the operating system itself. It has a micro sd card slot to expand the storage too. It also has 2 usb 3.0 and 2 usb C ports for connecting peripherals or thumbdrives. As a Chromebook, it features the security and simplicity of Google Chrome but also provides access to the Google Play Store for Android apps to expand your capabilities. This Chromebook will work well for those looking for a small, portable, and low cost laptop for school, work, or travel.

I love my chrome book! It works well with any WiFi and it is a great product to have for school
