The Acer Chromebook 311 is an excellent choice for anyone looking to get a computer for on the go, this thing is super lightweight and boots up in seconds so you can work when you need to without having to wait. This is a great choice for students or anyone who needs a small and light computer on the go. It is the perfect size to fit in a backpack or to carry with your notebook and the weight is so light that you barely notice it. The build quality is good and it features an adequate camera, microphone, and speakers if you need them. The speakers are a bit lacking but at this size, it's not really surprising and they are more than usable for a portable laptop of this size. It comes with an SD card slot so if you need a bit more space for saving documents locally but like most Chromebooks, you can save all of your documents to your Google Drive as long as you have an internet connection or it will wait until your connection resumes to save it online. Overall, this is an excellent Chromebook with a better build quality than some similar ones and is a great size and weight for anyone that needs a super portable notebook computer.

What do I need to say about a Chromebook? It is what it is. This particular device is on the lower end so it has a smaller processor/ minimal RAM and disk storage. Thus it does have its limitations. I was able to use it for general tasks but it bogged down when under moderate load(as expected). That all being said, this is a fantastic device for the kids. My son uses it the most for his youtube and general web browsing and it works flawlessly. The build seems solid and a large frame to case the screen and provide some additional support. Highly recommend for general web browsing, small single task workloads. IF you are a multi-tasker or run a ton of tabs/apps. Look for a higher spec'd device.
