Solidly built; metal (instead of plastic) body looks great; very fast when surfing the net; crisp and very sharp pictures.

Bought chromebook with the intention of having it accessible from our main living areas. Meant for this to substitute looking at our phones and using Mac desktop in office. The Acer has provided all that and more. The chromeos is simple and fast. There is some lag with a lot of tabs or high memory sites but it's suits our use. The screen is crisp with little to no glare. Keyboard and chassis are solid and feel like a higher price point. Very reminiscent of the Toshiba chromebook2.

I went in looking for a birthday gift for my wife. I purchased this Chromebook because it was on sale. Turns out it was a great choice. The speed is great. I had to convince my wife how well this would work for her. She was a little skeptical about the whole thought of ChromeOS. However, once she got used to using Office 365 she loves it. The few times I have used, I have really liked it. My only preference is a trackball instead of a touch-pad but that is preference not a negative on the device.

This is a great Chromebook, especially for the price. I had the 15" Acer Chromebook before, but was giving it to a family member and wanted something a bit smaller/more portable. This one is perfect in that regard. Much more portable than the 15". I loved the 15" as well, but it did get a bit bulky from time to time. I LOVE the build quality of this one. It has the aluminum/metal feel, which is better than the plastic 15" one, but the speakers on the 15" Acer are WAY better. My main negative for this Chromebook are the speakers. I could listen to music/videos from across the room on the 15" one due to the speakers being up-firing, but these speakers are firing downwards, so listening from across the room isn't possible. It is the trade off for the smaller form factor, but other than the speakers this is a great Chromebook. I have a gaming laptop, but end up using this Chromebook at least 85% of the time since most of my work is web based and it looks better sitting next to the couch than a 17" monster gaming laptop...plus the battery life is way better. This is my 2nd Acer Chromebook and would definitely recommend them.

I got this for my mother who isn't exactly tech savvy and she loves it. Easy to navigate and biggest screen for the price.

Chrome OS is simple, easy to use, and lightning fast. I had initial concerns of the usability as a college student, but my concerns have been squashed. Anything that the Chromebook can't do, I have Chrome Remote Desktop to link to my desktop to do. The battery life is impressive; I've gone almost 3 full days of classes without needing a recharge. This laptop comes highly recommended.

This laptop is a great product for the price you pay! The screen size is perfect and the laptop does not feel to heavy.

We purchased this for our child that takes online college courses. Any papers or assignments she writes, she stores on Google. So this was all she needed and it has been great. It's very portable but large enough to make typing comfortable. She's been very pleased with it.

The Acer Chromebook is light, great screen and very functional. Great for the beginner as well as the seasoned user.

Needed a basic machine to access the Internet. This does it. Nice fast start up and the battery lasts a long time.

Instead of investing a great sum in a laptop, I was looking for something simple to help me get through my semester. I work in front of a computer all day and then sit at a desk at school for 4-6 hours a day as well. This gave me the freedom to crash on my couch or in bed and do homework, watch Netflix, or just play on social media. It's easy to share my notes with my friends. It definitely filled my need as far as a laptop for school. Plus side, it's light.

After testing a few chromebooks at the store and reading many reviews, I decided to purchase one as a gift for my granddaughter .I had never purchased an acer product but I was impressed with the quality and speed. I felt it worked as fast as the top rated models and had a strong, impressive exterior. Even though I wasn't feeling well enough to go buy it, I got it on line and she picked it up at a store, near her house - before she left for college.

I did my research before buying my first Chromebook to make sure it would do everything I need it to. It does, and does it well. I use my phones mobile hotspot when I'm away from wifi and have no problems. I bought this for work and basic web browsing and it does that flawlessly. I've also been very pleased with the battery life. I like this so much I bought a second one for my mother. So far (it's been one week) she's very happy with hers as well.
