For the price it’s a great laptop that operates with no problem. I originally purchased it for my daughter to use for school work and such. I started using it as well. This is a new OS system for me...so it took a week or so to get use to it. No problem.

Very good design - great feel when typing, excellent HD picture. I bought it on sale then found it cheaper and they matched without question. Good Chromebook for current Chromebook owners or those that are thinking about cutting ties with Windows - you can't go wrong.

Setup is a sinch, log into your gmail account and done. Bookmarks jumped right over. Printing was a little precarious. We used google print to a printer on a PC. The PC has different gmail account but it worked. Con: with the screen was bigger. The 15" model did not have the horsepower this one does. Note: android apps do not work on chromebook. Other: speakers are on the bottom of the book but are loud enough to hear well.

Obviously this isn't the fastest machine out there, but for the price you really can't beat it. Very responsive. Most units at this price point only have 2GB of RAM, but this unit has 4GB which is very helpful when having multiple applications open.

I wanted a chromebook for its dedicated browsing ability and it has not disappointed. It has the added advantage of being more durable because of the solid state hard drive. The screen size makes streaming more enjoyable while still being lightweight and portable.

We bought this Chromebook our 7 year old, and it has been great! It has good connectivity to wireless, is relatively slim, and the battery lasts quite a bit of time. It's perfect for surfing the web and getting an inexperience user acclimated to using a computer.

I've been using this for work for about 3 weeks now and it's perfect for everything from simple tasks to writing full reports. It also integrates seemlessly with my Android phone and allows me to sync my contacts and everything else I have very easily.

The overall construction of this Chromebook is great. It is the only Chromebook I have seen that has an all aluminum shell. Slim and sturdy. Feels like a quality item. Also the screen is full HD resolution, which is typically found on high end Chromebooks.

I bought this a month ago and have been using it for 3 hours a day with no issues. It is fast, and the wifi as well. I also noticed a nice little trick the Acer website did not mention. This device has some sort of motion detector of sorts or gyroscope. I don't know what you call it but when you watch a Youtube video and you physically lift the Chromebook, it pauses the video! This blew my mind (in a good way) and I had to contact Acer and they did verify it does has that feature. Go test it at a BestBuy store if you do not believe me, but do get it as I feel the price might go up!

I love my new Chrome Book computer. The sales man that I worked with was so nice and very helpful. He deserves a promotion or at least a bonus. I have never owned a Chrome Book and it is really wonderful and easy to navigate. Thank you so very much.

This is a nice little PC. It was purchased to replace an old Dell that has seen it's better days. My wife is the primary user. There was/is a slight learning curve to chromeOS for her. This item was a much beefier notebook than the other options available.

Works for what we need it for. It's a laptop for the kids to do school work.

Good Chromebook. I'm coming from a Toshiba Chromebook 2 which I killed after many years of trusty service. The fit and finish of this machine are excellent. It feels like a more expensive machine (due to the aluminum casing). I like the touchpad; good size, and responsive. LCD is pretty good, but could be brighter. (My Toshiba Chromebook 2 had arguably the best 13" 1080p IPS LCD I have ever seen, so bear in mind that is what I'm comparing this against.) Main complaint is that when closed the keyboard and LCD occasionally come into contact. This after only a few weeks has made a noticeable mark on the LCD, and over time will likely scratch it. When the LCD is on you can't really see the mark but turned off it is obvious. I'll deal with it. I also have a strong dislike for tiny little power adapter jacks (which this has) it will be easy to break if one is not careful.

The Chromebook is a fairly straightforward laptop when it comes to user operations. It has great battery life and there are not many convoluted menus that you have to navigate to find what you find. This Chromebook is an affordable and clean interface.

I bought this Chromebook for my daughter. School said she needed it. Yet, a month later claims she only used it a few times in class. It holds its charge a long time and never seems to have any issues. F- for school requirements, A+ for Chromebook.

The Acer Chromebook 14 is reliable, lightweight, and its mobility is superior to a traditional laptop. It enables me to perform all of my cloud based activities with ease which is a bonus, especially while traveling. I highly recommend this item.

This has become my primary computer. I absolutely love how fast I can browse the web, view social media, etc. I would not use this computer for college but as an every day computer it is excellent. Extremely good battery life. Love the metal frame.

Computer is fine. Having a problem with attachments to email. Will bring in to geek squad when time. Geek squad set up printer to computer. But when i go to print says goes to cloud Will have to find out how to get back. Instructions are beyond me.
