Got this on sale! It is quick and responsive. I wanted a Macbook Air but didn't want to spend anywhere near that much. I have tried cheap Windows laptops and that is what they are! If all you want to do is surf the net, watch videos on Amazon Prime, write emails, ect., this unit will be perfect. Screen is beautiful and speakers are fine. A backlit keyboard would have been great, but for 199 I can turn on a light!

Great for the money speed and memory with usb access makes up for no cdrom. Great hd picture full size great speakers well worth the money I would highly recommend to anyone on a budget looking for something fast with great picture quality and plenty memory for all the cool apps available on windows 10

a great price for a great laptop. use it mostly to surf the web and online shop, social networking. speed is great and size is perfect for travel.

It looks better on the picture, the white off color is trying to imitate iBook. I am not sure why 2 speakers are on both side of the keyboard and not hidden like in most laptops today. I was very hard to see the keystrokes at night as this is not backlit keyboard like Some Toshiba ones have it. It turn on very fast and it is perfect for the heavy internet user. I don't like the fact that in Chromebooks you cannot put any shortcuts on teh desktop, you need to use taskbar only. Also it does not log you out so anyone who opens this laptop can see your account unless you set to require password. Still if you want to to use as regular laptop without signing in you have to select each time option to login as guest account. It is very nice size of the screen but the laptop is very heavy to use it on your laptop or in bed. Not bad but they still need to workout some details.

I took a leap of faith and plunged into this Chromebook.... for work! Since I keep everything in my cloud drive, i figured it should work OK for me. And it has, for the most part. But rather than starting with drawbacks, I'll start with what impressed me. The huge screen (for Chromebooks) is very nice, wide viewing angles, smudge resistant, and crystal clear. When i powered it up, Whoa! My tablet doesn't even start this fast. Instant on, as far as I'm concerned. As soon as I signed in to my Google account, I felt right at home. Interesting variation from Windows 10, with the quick action key, I can search or go to one of my application extensions, or even review my Google Now cards. Very cool. Drawbacks? I didn't realize how compromised I'd be trying to manipulate documents and spreadsheets. Not even Office Online felt good, so I ended up committing to a subscription to use an Open Office product, the same I'd been using all along on my Windows laptop. So be prepared to engineer some workarounds of your own. As for me I'm up to the challenge, because I really like this nifty little show pony. Oh, and the battery is atomic or something; lasts for days (give or take).

The Chromebook 15 is a monster. Acer took a pass on the “small, light and cheap”. The build quality is excellent but it is on the heavy and large side so you probably won't be carrying it around in your backpack. The fact that it's one of the few Chromebooks that support the new wireless standard 802.11ac is a plus and it's super fast on a supported network. I only wish it had a backlit keyboard. I bought this open box so I saved $20 - you couldn't tell the difference between new and open box in this particular case. Immaculate condition.

I bought this laptop for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. I see her on it everyday. I love that i dont need to buy anti spyware. The start and shut down time is instant. Speakers are excellent and crystal clear.

The acer chromebook 15 is very fast, sleek, and has everything the average human needs in a computer. It's loaded with Chrome OS, so its optimized for google chrome internet browsing and working on google drive. I was pleasantly surprised with this chromebook, as the chromebooks i used to use in highschool were atrocious. This one, however, is the best computer you can get for ~200 bucks.

My main need for a computer is to surf the internet and use of email. I already own a Chromebook but wanted one with a larger screen. This Acer 15 definitely fits the bill. I love the fact that these computers are so fast and don't require the need for virus software. That is all taken care of by Google in the cloud. When you do have to restart your computer for updates it takes seconds instead of minutes like I have experienced with Windows Pc's over the years. Would definitely recommend this computer...I also bought one for my mother and she loves its ease of use and speed as well.

Didn't know much about chromebooks before purchase but I am totally sold now. Got my mother to buy one also. She is in her 80's and was mad I hadn't told her about these years ago! Gee, Mom they weren't made years ago. My dad now feels left out since she doesn't have to ask him how to do things on the computer. Got my father-in-law to also buy one. We all just basically surf the net, email and print. If need to do more use desk-top.

this is a great computer for a student that needs to access web (like, google docs, i-ready, etc) for his school work and homework. Fast and simple. Great 1080p screen for occasional movie.

light weight, fast, high resolution screen, speakers are great Chrome OS can be limiting but if you understand what you are buying it's a great value

Had this computer for about 3 months now, absolute love it The speakers are amazing, the sound travels throughout the room. Screen quality is fantastic. Works really well if you're internet based and use google docs,drive, and other google products. Would not recommend if you want to download any other software from an outside source because it will not be able to recognize the file. atleast 8 hours of battery life if your screen is not that bright. Overall, great computer and I absolutely love it, so glad I chose this laptop.

Bought this for my older parents who never owned a computer. Great little training laptop because it was cheap, easy to teach them on, and the screen is large so they can watch movies wherever they are. Nice little beginner chromebook

I have had this Chrome book for about a month now, and I love it! I was looking for something that would access the internet quickly, that had a keyboard, and a decent sized screen. The screen is certainly big and clear. This fits in my lap just fine for a big screen laptop. It boots up in about 7 seconds, and then I can go to Facebook, Netflix, youtube, etc. I set up Spotify, hooked the laptop to my receiver, and now I have almost unlimited music! This is a chromebook, not a full laptop, but I didn't want the longer boot time and need for anti-virus. I wasn't totally sure I would like this when I got it, but I use it every day, and am more than happy. Pros: Price, fast boot, nice size screen, keyboard, no need for anti-virus software. Cons: None that I have noticed.

large speakers, large in size, fast, and barttery!

I purchased this Computer as a Gift for my 10 yr old daughter. She really loved it! It's simple enough for a kid to use but also it's got everything you'll need in a Chromebook. As long as you know the limitations of a Chrome book you'll be satisfied. I'd recommend this Chromebook for kids or Adults.

It's easy to use, starts up fast, matte screen, vibrant picture and quality sound. All I need to surf the web, watch videos and check my emails. I've had other chromebooks and laptops that operated off of Windows, but I like this the best! The screen is just right for me and I especially like how the speakers are next to the keyboard - it's loud and clear!
