Compare to other brands the features of this laptop make it a great affordable gaming machine, pair it with an ssd drive zero lag playing games and this thing is super fast. I highly recommended to anybody.

I purchased 2 of these laptops for my kids. They are not hard core gamers but play games like Roblox, Minecraft, Terraria, Sims and star dew valley on steam. This laptop handles all these games without any problem. I wanted as much CPU and GPU power I could get for the money since I was buying 2. It doesn't have an SSD but does have optane which helps. Most of the laptops in this price range had a 256 or 512 SSD which is too small and adding an external HD defeats the purpose. The screen is amazing

I bought this computer to handle obs for streaming on twitch. It did great for lower res games but for higher res there was a little bit of lag. After a little homework I bought an additional 8gb of ram. Now it is perfect.

Got this for my son for college with CAD software in mind. We got the version with the I7 processor, and it works amazingly well. Everything ran smoothly and there were no performance problems. The only problem we had with the device is the back would heat up a lot when running graphics heavy programs.

This laptop is perfect for my gaming needs which is a lot of indie games and older games. Also user friendly.

Good quality laptop for entry level gaming. I would however still recommend buying a cheap laptop and gaming on a desktop as it can't keep up with a desktop on the same hardware.

Like all young people today, my son rarely watches TV, but he is always watching things on his laptop.

At first I was impressed by the value for the price you receive. It was a decent laptop for a casual gamer like me. However, 5 months after the purchase it broke down. I wasn't even doing anything major, just surfing the web. No spillage, no dropping, just regular use. It shut down on me and wouldn't turn back on. I had it repaired through the protection plan, where they found the WIFI card and antenna to be defective. Repairs didn't go smoothly either, so that added to my frustration. Maybe I got a lemon, maybe not, but due to my experience with this laptop I felt the need to adjust my review. Especially, since all my laptops have been from Acer, all of them still work, and the only reason I got new ones, is to upgrade to a newer model. I am now upgrading to a different Acer through the protection plan, because I still believe it to be a great manufacturer.
