Overall, the Acer - KA242Y Ebi 23.8” Full HD IPS Monitor is a good monitor that works well as a second or third monitor, especially for the Work From Home/Hybrid/etc. crowd. I am using the Acer KA242Y mainly as an additional work monitor. It is easier to use than a larger monitor, as you can freely share what’s on your screen without having to adjust the application’s size when presenting with my team and customers. The clarity is crisp and clear, although the darker colors are more defined than the lighter ones - I recently had LASIK eye surgery and now notice every little detail - this monitor is easy on my eyes. When watching a movie or video, I noticed some pixelation when compared to my laptop or the curved monitor. It’s not significant, but noticeable if you look for it. This doesn’t affect your daily tasks - if you use it as a work monitor for Salesforce and the Office Suite, or your personal emails, etc. One thing I like to see is for it to have a longer power cable. About 6 inches to 1 foot longer would be perfect.

The monitor was great. It lasted me a very long time till i wanted to upgrade. Ifnyou want a decent monitor that wont brake the bank, I suggest this monitor.

This is a great choice for a basic monitor, especially for under $100. Bought it to replace a 21.5" 1080p monitor just because I wanted something a little bigger. The 100Hz refresh rate is a nice bonus to make moving windows around the desktop feel a bit smoother. I haven't seen any dead pixels or backlight bleed so far. Having both HDMI and VGA inputs is nice for having the option to connect both newer and older computers. It would be nice if it also had a DisplayPort input, but I don't think this will really be an issue for most people.

Needed a quick and low end monitor to run media station and this worked out perfect. only needed 1080P and a mid range refresh rate and this was perfect.

decent monitor. it is nothing special but it is good for the price and so far theres no issues with it. been using it for 6 months no problems.

This monitor provides a very good picture and video streaming, internet browsing and office use (ie email, MS Office, Etc.) Its bright and clear.

I use my computer for bookkeeping, research, email, news and other general projects. I like the screen size and clarity and the price was reasonable and it wasn’t difficult to set up. I’ve not had it long enough to have problems but so far I’m very satisfied.

This is a great size monitor for normal day-to-day household functions. I can’t comment on if it’s good for gaming because I do not game on PC, but it is great quality for the size of the monitor.

The monitor has a great display, refresh rate, and overall image clarity. I have noticed zero issues with flickering or any sort of visual problems. The monitor comes with a standard dual-end HDMI cable, which did not plug into my computer that needed a DP/HDMI cable. Additionally, this monitor is not a plug-and-play for audio. My PC audio has this monitor listed in the drop-down for sound output, but no sound comes through that monitor. My second monitor worked for audio without any additional configuration needed. I am still not certain whether it has any audio capabilities or if I just need to change sound settings and configuration. I have not bothered.

Saw this monitor on sale a few weeks ago and when I saw the specs, it was too good to pass up on. I ended up ordering two of them, one for my gaming computer, and the other for my Macbook for when I'm doing homework. The only real downside to it all is the stand doesn't adjust but I had monitor arms handy for them anyways so it didn't change my experience but your mileage may vary. Overall a great display for an even greater price.

wonderful big time monitor screen for my computer its really nice and bright and the pictures are very clear and i sure do recommend this computer screen and very easy to hook up..

Purchased for our college Jr. who was tired of looking at a smaller laptop screen. It was easy to connect and the resolution is perfect for her needs. She wears contacts and having the larger monitor, while not too large, is helping to reduce strain on her eyes.
