Used to be standard. Salesperson did not point this out. Screen has a great image. Just don't expect too much in addition.

Posted .The KA242Y is a display device only; most monitors do not include speakers, microphone and webcam. These features are generally indicative of an All In One PC, rather than a monitor. While we do offer monitors with built in speakers, you would need a laptop, PC or All In One to get the rest of the features you mention. Acer does sell AIO products as well as monitors, which you can check the specifications on the reseller's website.

The refresh rate has to be adjusted or you get a black screen. Once the refresh rate is adjusted, this is one nice monitor for most things you will use it for.

But with the matte screen the color is not a vibrant as my other Acer monitor with the glass screen. But it does help a lot with no glare while gaming. :)

It saved my eyes, the colors and clarity are wonderful, and I actually want to get another ACER monitor. Also, the Tech there helping me was DEAD ON about the computer and other garbage the company gave people. You have some very smart and helpful people there. I left the job…..their supervisor sucked & bad equipment made job almost impossible, but I love shopping at Best Buy for tech stuff now.
