Stays in sleep mode while my other monitor has no issues. Started happening about 6 months after purchase.

Does not have a DisplayPort, Description and title needs to change accordingly

Good monitor but the customer service at Best Buy is SO BAD. I always have issues with online orders they’re holding an order of mine hostage RIGHT now. I don’t not recommend shopping at Best Buy at all! Go to Amazon instead. This is why your stores are failing.

This is my third and latest ACER monitor (different models). I bought it in July, 2023. Now it is not working. The older monitors still working and survived the same number of power outages and more. I don't recommend this.

bought this in april, 2024. it just died this week. only a couple months of use. this is the first monitor that ever failed on me.

Nice looking unit and perfect for my space, unfortunately no matter how hard I tried or how many different outlets I plugged it in to, it would not turn on.

It said on the box that it is has 100 Hz but when i open it its a 60 Hz

I was in the market for a second monitor for my home office setup that provided a good quality picture without breaking the bank. I stumbled upon the Acer Nitro LED freesync gaming monitor assuming I would have to pay a little more for a good quality monitor. You would think that a monitor at this price point would have large bezels and maybe only a VGA connection but Acer designed this monitor with what it calls a near bezel-less design. Having such small bezels is great when you are trying to have a 2 monitor setup on your desk since it makes the transition between monitors look much nicer. The monitor also has a very wide viewing angle so that anyone can clearly see the monitors as long as they are within the manufacturer stated viewing angle of 178 degrees. I was quite surprised that there was no lag even while gaming on some pretty intense games. The HDMI connection worked flawlessly and I did not experience any sort of flicker as I occasionally do with my current monitor. Attaching the base to the monitor only took about 5 minutes and I live that there is no ac power brick to deal with since it is all integrated within the monitor. Overall i would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a cost effective monitor

Quality monitors are essential for any computer. I use it as a second screen on my laptop and have made it the primary screen. The Acer KA272 met every bit of my expectations. Be picky when selecting a monitor as it impacts your overall experience while using a computer. If you are using a screen smaller that 27”, you will soon find you love the larger size. The resolution is clear, with no flickering, or interference noise. It is soft on the eyes with several elements that can be customized. You are able to adjust the resolution and Acer makes it easy with a joystick-like button. There is nothing more annoying than trying to find the up, down, and select buttons and they make that task all in one. Out of the box, the stand is easy to assemble. It does have VESA mount capability if you have a built-in stand or want to mount it to a wall. It comes with an HDMI cable but also has a VGA connection. There is no speaker or camera on this monitor. At this price point, you should not expect one. Are there better monitors-Yes and they are way more expensive. At this price point, you get everything you want. Bottom line, It’s a great general all-purpose monitor that won’t strain your eyes and gives you a clear crisp view of your computer.

While monitors are becoming less expensive, finding a good quality one can be tricky. Basically it all comes down to the monitor display. For most, HD quality will work unless you heavy into gaming or video design. For daily activity in watching video and work, the HD provided by this monitor really does the trick. The 27" screen is a great size for getting a full view. The monitor has a near bezelless display which I like since you can see screen and not ugly bezels. I have seen that it has a 75mhz and 100mhz refresh rate online. Acer claims it is 75 Mhz so I will stick with that. Even then the scrolling is very smooth. The colors are bright as well. Also, the contrast ratio is 100,000,000 to 1 which means the overall picture is very clean. It has a 1ms response time that is good event for gaming. This monitor does not use a display port. It's HDMI so make sure you have a port for that on your computer (most do). There is an HDMI cable in the box. The setup was very easy and Windows 11 found it with no problem. I would definitely recommend this monitor.

The Acer KA272 27-inch Full HD Monitor at Best Buy's GIVEAWAY PRICE is a super bargain! I just wish the control buttons were in front, instead of the bottom back! Still, it's a super deal! signed....Waldo Pepperoni!

I was recently shopping for a second monitor and since I picked up an Acer notebook I decided to check out the brand's display options. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Acer has a huge selection of monitors, from high end to really affordable ones. Since I needed a basic 1080p display this model got my attention and after a few reviews and some research I made my choice to pick it up. So all in all, if you need a medium size 27" monitor that won't take up a ton of space on your desk, I would definitely recommend this model (KA272). It has all you need as far as connections - good old HDMI and even a VGA port if you still fancy a computer or a projector. The design is extremely simplistic, the display is bright and crisp with FreeSync (AMD Adaptive Sync). It is also 75Hz so if gaming is your thing I would pick up a higher end Acer with 240Hz, but for my needs this monitor definitely met all my requirements. Microsoft Word and Excel look good and YouTube videos play well on it as well in full HD. If you need a good monitor for work or school, this Acer can be a great choice, it is extremely affordable, and will not disappoint you!

Lets get started... Out of the box does require some assembly - as expected! You do have to assemble the stand(base and arm) then attach to the monitor itself. This is straight forward and you just really need a coin or screwdriver. Appearance of the monitor is nice - slim bezel around the top and sides. There is a 1/2" bezel along the bottom. Base is shiny plastic inputs are limited to 1 VGA and 1 HDMI 2.0 - I would have liked to have a second HDMI or DP port on this unit for multipurpose use. As I did hook up an XBOX for testing Overall performance was good - nice bright crisp image. The big callout here is Freesync - it works decently but you have to have the proper graphics card. Unit refresh is 100MHZ - and this works well. Good monitor that is recommended for budget use or for general gaming. Hard to beat the price to performance ratio on this one. Slim bezel gives a good look overall Enjoyed working and watching movies and the casual gaming performance! Coming in at 27" is a large format screen that is easy to view Recommend

Good 1080p display for basic tasks. Supports upto 100Hz so thats a plus. Sturdy build quality.
