Customers highly value the 27" IPS LED FHD FreeSync Monitor's picture quality and its affordability. Many appreciate its ease of use and the vibrant colors it produces. Defective
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brand new straight out of the box, and It doesn’t detect a HDMI signal about 90% of the time. When it finally did detect a signal, I loved it, but it almost never does detect a signal. I have it hooked up from a Surface Dock 2 Via a USB- C cable to HDMI. I thought it was a problem with the Surface Dock or the cable at first, but they work beautifully.

Perfect for Software Engineering
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a software engineer by profession and needed an extra wide monitor for my new home office (seems many of us has one these days...). Full disclosure: I am NOT a gamer. I don't play games, have zero interest in crazy frame rates and mind-boggling picture quality, and will tell you right now that this monitor is probably not good for gaming. This review is about the monitor's efficacy for work (and in my case, reading and writing tons of code for 10-14 hours per day). SETUP: That said, this monitor is perfect for what I do, which entails navigating large IDEs, toggling between tons of command prompts, scouring walls of text. I was pleasantly surprised that literally zero configuration was needed. When the monitor arrived, I was able to plug into my Dell Latitude and within 5 minutes had a comfortable dual screen setup. I haven't tried it with my other machines (Macbook and a Pixelbook), but no driver installation is required so I expect they will work right out of the box as well. QUALITY: The picture quality is clear and actually quite good. By "quite good", I mean I can scan over 10,000 lines of code and everything is perfectly legible and clear. I can also test webpages I am developing, and have no issues seeing the little details and nuances that matter. This is not a super 'crisp' monitor, but do you really expect that at this price? I'm confused by complaints about the brightness - there is a brightness setting on the monitor...I wonder if those writing the negative reviews are privy to that. The monitor can get considerably bright - I'd say it is comparable to full brightness on just about any standard computer in 2020. HARDWARE: The monitor comes with a stand - you can adjust the monitor across a single axis: pointing it up/down. This is fine for me; I can capture the angle I want. It looks like it has as mount on the back, but no hardware was included for this (and wasn't promised anyway). It's sturdy, and doesn't feel like it's going to come crashing down on my keyboard anytime soon, so I'm perfectly happy with it. The power adapter is a simple cable, no adapter or transformer or anything. It's nice. Consider yourself forewarned about the included connection cable - it's VGA-to-VGA, which is essentially useless with modern machines, and especially laptops. The monitor has an HDMI input, so be sure to grab one of those with whichever type of connector you need for your computer (e.g. HDMI-to-USB-C for newer Macbooks, HDMI-to-HDMI for Dell, etc). FINAL VERDICT: Look, if you need this for work or school, go for it. It's a legitimately GOOD monitor, and I admit I was very skeptical when I purchased this. I've come to find that with these monitors, there really is no need to spend buckets of money unless you NEED excellent resolution/crisp picture, whether for gaming, or digital design. Otherwise, buy this. Close the other one thousand tabs of other monitors you have open, and just pick this one if you feel you have similar needs as I - it's the real deal, it works, and it's pretty darned good at that.

Great for General Use, not Photoshop/Video Editing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a decent monitor that is just great for web and word processing. My biggest issue with this is that it stopped working a few months after I purchased it. It basically sat on my desk for 8 months collecting dust, eventually I looked at the warranty info and saw it was under warranty. I filed a claim, and mailed it to the manufacturer and when they received it were unable to find the problem because it started working again. I was surprised when I received it back with nothing being done to it, but sure enough it was working. It's been about 2 years since and it's still working fine. I use it for an external monitor, connected to a Macbook Pro M1 Max. This was on sale when I purchased it so it was a good deal but I wish I would have forked out the extra cash for a 4k monitor instead.

So Glad I Upgraded
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love love love this monitor. Finally upgraded from a TN panel monitor that was giving me horrible headaches. As a graphic designer, I needed a second screen for my laptop and this monitor's IPS panel makes the colors on my screen true to print as needed for my line of work. Got it on sale and would still probably pay full price if I was in the market (but not so much on a budget). Mountable, easy to set up, and beautiful. Very much worth the investment in my opinion.

Gift for my son
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor on sale as a gift for my sons gaming computer. He said it does a great job rendering the games that he plays on his computer although it is not the fastest refresh rate he has used with his other computer. But he said that it can do what he needs it to do and that monitor has great color quality.

Great for College Student / MacBook Pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to use for college student to connect MacBook Pro and Dell laptops via HDMI adapters to have a larger screen to make it easier to read online textbooks and do simulations, programming exercises, etc. Easy to connect, easy to set up, perfect size for apartment desk. No webcam but didn't need that feature. More interested in picture quality, size, and the ability to have a raised monitor versus hunching over a smaller laptop screen. Works great so far. Very happy with purchase and sale price.

Awesome...unless you read all day
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect size, great quality, super easy to mount. My one issue is that when it's set to "Reading" mode the text is fuzzy...but if I don't set it to blue light mode and it's for "Graphics," it's too sharp / bright and I get headaches. Not sure if this is a sync issue with my laptop (MacBook Pro 2017), the dongle, or what. Hope to fix at some point though!

wonderful product
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.honestly, for the price I was surprised. The build quality is sturdy and it doesnt feel cheap. I mainly use my other Monitor (32 inch , 4k @ 244hz , high end ) for all gaming/video but I do use 2 of these for work , one is in portrait mode and other default, the picture is good, they run well and sharp picture quality, they mount nicely and the options/menu is great. 10/10 for the price

Bang for the buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for the price. Has 1 VGA port and 1 HDMI port. The stand is plastic but is very easy to assemble. It doesn’t have speakers. 1ms response time with 1080 resolution does the job. Casual gaming is no problem. Monitor is pretty light for its size.

Great Monitor!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this monitor for a couple of weeks now and it has been perfect. It looks great and it is great quality. The size is perfect and 75hz is not great but it's pretty decent. I would recommend this to anyone as long as you know that it doesn't have speakers and it only has 1 HDMI port and 1 VGA port. It fits my needs because I have an external speaker, but if you don't be sure to buy one before you buy this.

Good basic monitor for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a no nonsense monitor at a great price if you get it during the black friday sale. It works well for office work and looks good. Colors are vibrant and there are preset modes that you can use for different tasks if you like that sort of thing. My only dislike is that it has only one display input type- HDMI. I needed to get a different cable to connect it since my last monitor used display port. All in all I would buy this again.

Quality monitor for price
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using this for awhile now and it's worked exactly as described. Very fair price as well. Not the highest quality for high end activities but that's not the purpose of this particular monitor.

Great Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its amazing what happens when you go from a tiny computer screen to this 27 inch beauty. Crystal clear and true to life images. It is a must for people who want to go big, but not crazy big and crazy expensive. It is also important to note that this has a VGA connection. the first screen I ordered did not have this which was not going to be useful for me. It was easily swapped at the store for this model which DOES have a the coveted VGA connection. It is super easy to install... plug and play! This is great for people like me that run a Linux OS. No software to try to configure. Plug it in, turn it on and watch the beauty unfold.
