We use the screen on lowest brightness. Bought it for home office, easy to use with my Mac although cable was expensive. Comes with the normal bunch of adapters so friends can use with their laptops. Picture looks great and good price.

This monitor is perfect for office work and delivers a clear 1920 x 1080 picture. It is quite a good value with the low price and the fact that the box includes an VGA and a HDMI cable.

I have used this monitor to play video games, watch movies, surf the web, etc. and each time I use it is, visually, a high-quality experience. The matte screen prevents glare and its resolution, fps, and refresh rate allow for clear images and smooth motion. The monitor is sturdy but light and is easy to set up. There are no built-in speakers but its headphone jack can accommodate earphones or speakers for sound.

I bought this monitor to replace my 22" acer and it was well worth the purchase. It's large enough so that i could remove my second monitor. great clarity and price.....

My new Acer monitor is just about the best in its class, I think. At 27 inches, it's the ideal size for my, literally, desk top application. There's a selection of pre-set screen intensities which allow you to adjust the sharpness/intensity of the display to suit your level of ambient illumination. It's plug and play, too, so there's no need to fool around with disks to get you up and running. On the downside, accessing the menu and altering the settings is a little tricky, especially as there are no visible indicators as to what button does what. Apart from that, it's a great monitor.

Color is great, set up is easy, size is awesome. For my needs, the only downside, that I did not realize before purchasing, is that the tilt is not adjustable and the monitor rests on its stand at a fixed angle. Could not deduct a star for that, as that is my personal preference and something I could have discovered before purchasing. That being said, I am pleased that the angle does not hinder how the picture looks like some other monitors I have used that distort or look less clear based on their angle. No frills here, but for the price, I would definitely recommend it.

We bought this as a family monitor for a MacMini we already owned. It was a great price, is just the right size, and the picture quality is outstanding.

I love this monitor. Very little setup time, then just plug in and you are set. It is so clear and it has all of the connections that I need. It has an HDMI port, a VGA port and a DVI port. The monitor is nice and bright but can be dimmed if you are working in a dark environment. This monitor is big, but no so big that you have to be moving your head around all day to look at all of the screen.

I bought this 27-inch monitor to use in my home office. The size enables me to have two documents open side-by-side without making the individual windows small, like I would have to do with using my laptop or another, smaller monitor. I also don't feel like I need two monitors. I have a 24-inch (and 19-inch) monitor at work and think the slightly bigger size is worth the extra cost. The sale price was excellent as well. I haven't used it much, but I like it so far and would buy it again.

I upgraded from a 22” monitor to this one and have really enjoyed the size upgrade and the quality of this monitor. I have computers hooked up to the vga and dvi inputs and switching between them is super easy. My only complaint is that if the selected computer goes to sleep, the monitor automatically switches to the other input. It hasn’t been a major issue, but can be a minor annoyance at times

I bought this monitor for a PC build for my son. It seriously was the cherry on top of this PC cake! The price was perfect and the Size was overwhelmingly awesome! I'm now envious and want one for myself. No built in speakers, supports HDMI, which is what I needed. So all in all, if you need a 1080p/HDMI/LED monitor and I hope you get it on sale like I did, then this is perfect!

I do really like this monitor. The view on this one is excellent and the monitor tilts. It has no adjustments on the monitor, that I can find. After a short while, I realized I didn't really need adjustments on the monitor. Liked the price. I finally gave up and bought a wide screen monitor of which I am not a fan. I really wanted one with a 16:10 aspect ratio so it would be close to a standard width not a wide screen, but those are $300.00 and more. This one can be adjusted to a close approximation. I don't watch movies or play games on a computer. I program, research information, and write.

I really like this monitor. Assembling the monitor is quick and easy. It is very bright especially at night. I have my brightness/contrast turned down to 30 and it is still bright. It has VGA, DVI, HDMI and 3.5mm inputs. There is no need to buy any cables because they are included. It automatically switches between active inputs. I have my PC connected via DVI and an XBOX 360 via HDMI. If I turn off my computer, the monitor goes into standby mode (sleep basically). If i turn on my xbox it will turn on and switch to HDMI input displaying whatever is running on my xbox. This is a great feature because the buttons to switch inputs/change settings are a bit weird. They are a slightly recessed and trying to navigate the menu (also odd) by feeling the buttons is not easy. Overall I highly recommend this monitor and would definitely buy another for a dual monitor setup.

I had just returned a 23" samsung monitor to a competitors store because the quality was not what i expected and it wast mountable. So i headed over Best Buy because they are the only ones that have a larger selection of monitors on display. This 27 inch stood out right away, and the price made it even better. I couldnt believe it, so I bought it and been perfectly happy. Car.

No complaints with the monitor, for the price, it is excellent. The only problem I have with it is sound. There is no explanation about how the sound works with either a Windows PC or a Mac. Mine is attached to a Mac, and when connected with HDMI, there is a speaker for the monitor that is selected by default, but there are no speakers so it doesn't produce any sound. I have to change the sound selector in System Preferences to select my external speakers instead of the monitor every time I restart the Mac.

Grabbed this monitor while it was on sale because I wanted to replace on older 24 inch LG monitor. It has been excellent and FAR surpassed my expectations. It is large and the screen can get VERY bright. I usually have to max out brightness on monitors but this one is blinding on max so I can keep it on a comfortable level below max. Color is great and refresh fate is superb for everyday browsing and media consumption but I'm sure it would handle heavier games just fine as well. The only pain point I have with the monitor is the large on/standby notification light/power button on the bottom right side of the monitor. While on a very bright blue light shines and while on standby it is a bright amber. I wish there was an option to turn the light off as it is sort of distracting while you use the monitor in the beginning. Other then that this is an excellent monitor that I would 100% reccomend, especially if you can catch it on sale.

I bought this monitor to replace a 5 year old Hanspree. It hit my desired price point perfectly. The contrast is unbelievable. Images are crisp and streaming video is beautiful. If you are a gamer, I recommend going for a monitor with at least 120Hz refresh rate, but if you want a monitor you know you can grab off the shelf and you're good to go for the office or home, this is a great option!
