ACER ASPIRE VERO AV15-53P-54MV - Vero i5 REFRESH Green PC, I think it's cool that Acer tried to be green conscious, laptop is thin, light weight. The keys are backlit which I always like cause I tend to like working in low light sometimes especially being on a desktop 8+ hours a day. The keys are soft and not noisy. The screen is a nice size very clear and bright clear picture which is full HD, has two usb slots, comes with windows 11. The mouse is simple and easy to use although I normally prefer using an external mouse. I did have an issue with my screen going to sleep or turning off and would not turn back on but I've had it happen with another Acer I had I had to connect to my desk top as a second monitor to wake it back up simple and easy but that's the only way to get it to turn back on. Another issue was the charging cord I understand the whole green concept but the charging cord seems so cheap and flimsy I didn't feel like it really fit snuggly you really have to make sure you plug it in properly push it in good or it seems to come out. Other then those two issues it good for the money good for students not for high use does not have the option to add memory.

Acer making one clean green machine Save the Earth

More now than ever people have become more aware of the fact that we need to protect our environment and do all we can to preserve this earth that we all live on. When a company like Acer makes a statement and gesture designing and fabricating a machine like this, it should be praised and recognized. They even used recycled materials for the packaging that the the Acer Vero comes in. Using recycled plastic in the Aspire Vero, their company wanted to demonstrate their commitment to reducing carbon emissions. They have increased their reduction of CO2 emissions from 21% to 30%, in our quest for a greater positive impact on the environment. And we as people should do our part in minimizing our carbon footprint for us and our future generations. Out of the box it comes with a nice protective bag which matches in color. I have to say the texture of the body being plastic does feel more like a child's tablet and not the usual sleek metallic designs we're used to but it doesn't change the performance aspects at all. Their OceanGlass touchpad was made entirely out of abandoned plastic waste and reused within its surface to provide you with a sleek, glass-like tactile texture. It comes with Windows 11 as the operating system, 8GB of LPDDR5 memory (to me should be a little more because in my previous laptop had only 8GB and would tend to bog down after working for a while then had to close my browser and restart , but I do tend to have a lot of tabs open at once), Intel 13th Generation Core i5, Display connectors you get 2 x Thunderbolt 4, 1 x HDMI 2.1, does have a backlit keyboard, and fingerprint reader for security. It's a nice choice if you want to do your part in trying to make this world a better place one piece at a time!

This is a great basic laptop that addresses some of the environmental concerns that come with e-waste. My father-in-law needed a new computer and we selected this one based on his needs which was an inexpensive laptop, but could still do all of his social network stuff, do his banking, play some games and have a good battery life. The out of box experience was just like most other computers today using Windows, a few basic questions, sign in with your Microsoft account (or create a new one), check for updates, then it was ready to use. This laptop performed great, has a good webcam for those Teams or Zoom meetings, a long lasting battery, the keyboard and speakers were just ok. It has all of the typical USB A and C ports, HDMI port, a headphone port, and the rarely used Kensington lock port. This is not a high end gaming laptop, but it will be plenty for the casual gamer. If you're playing Facebook games or something similar, then this laptop will be great for you. This laptop is a good choice for those who want to make a more environmentally sound decision when purchasing a laptop.

Pros -Very nice display, IPS has great viewing angles and is nice to look at, good job acer. -Keyboard is solid, euphoric to type on, accurate, easy to get used to, good job acer -Ergonomics, I like the cutout on where your hand would rest right under the trackpad, very well thought out feel overall. The design is very human. Cons -Only 8 gb of ram -Ram is not upgradable, womp womp acer -Alot alot alot of bloatware in windows installation, typical acer Verdict: If you are a light user who knows not to have too many chrome tabs at once open, you optimize it, delete the bloatware that it comes with, disable startup apps etc etc.. and know how to look after ram usage and you maybe do some light gaming here and there, this laptop is for you. If you are a irresponsible heavy user who uses many chrome tabs, leaves programs running, plans to keep this laptop for over years and years to come.. this is not the one especially considering you can't upgrade the memory... Eventually 8gb is going to be the new 4. In the end of the day you are stuck with only 8gb of ram in an otherwise amazing laptop with a monstrous 10 core 12 thread cpu with decent integrated graphics that are surprisingly capable.. its just sad that they nerfed it like they did.

First impression: The Acer Aspire AV-15 Green laptop is very well packaged and appears to be a very sturdy and well-made laptop. It’s lightweight for its size and is a very attractive laptop. The plastic case feels very strong, and the hinges are tight but move very easily. Green Laptop: I chose this laptop because I was very curious what a green laptop was. I didn’t know if it meant green manufacturing, green as low-energy consumption, both, or something completely different. Regardless, I wanted to see how a green laptop performed. In the case of the Acer Vero, it is both. They have greatly reduced the use of cardboard and plastics by using recycled products. The chassis is made with 40% PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) plastics. It has a very attractive texture and is also paint-free. The packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard, and is reusable, unlike most packaging. This packaging uses no plastics at all. The laptop is shipped in this cloth-feeling cover that’s made from recycled polyester. It feels soft and is also reusable. The keyboard cover is the same. Manufacturing this laptop in this manner has reduced their CO2 emissions by 30%. This laptop is 100% mercury free. The Acer Vero also offers 4 performance modes of operation; Performance, Balanced, Eco, and Eco+, offering the chance to make the laptop more energy efficient. I tested this laptop in Balanced mode. Packaging: I usually don’t go into details with the packaging, but this laptop deserves the space. First, it is made from 100% recycled cardboard. It has multi layers to it providing tight fitting pieces and great protection to the laptop and accessories. The laptop and charger are sandwiched between two form-fitted, cardboard shell-like frames. Then it and the carrying sleeve are sandwiched between two larger cardboard frames. This is a reusable package system if you feel like you might need to ship it at some time. There is no Styrofoam in this package. Setup: There is nothing unique or special about the setup. I went through the standard Windows 11 setup and signed in with my Microsoft account to make it easier. Performance: My Acer Vero AV-15 came with the following specifications: • 13th Gen Intel i5-1335U 2.5 GHz 10-Core CPU. • 8 GB of DDR5 memory. • 512 GB NVMe storage space. • Intel Wi-Fi 6E wireless. • Bluetooth 5.2 This laptop is a good size. It is wide and thin, a great combination for lap-computing and carrying around. The width is perfect for working on the laptop while it is in my lap, which is quite often. And unlike most laptops, the bottom of the laptop doesn’t get hot, no matter what I am doing on the laptop. But my favorite part of the physical aspect of this laptop is the feet. That’s right, I said the feet. There are 4 feet on the bottom, made of rubber that really grips whatever it is sitting on. A lot of laptops these days use rubber strips along the bottom that cover the case screws. If you remove the strip, it is difficult to get it back in place. On my work laptop, the strip came out over time, and I never could get them back in. I much prefer these feet. The performance of this laptop is better than average. I don’t say this as a criticism, but a complement. This is not a gaming laptop and wasn’t designed around speed. This laptop seems to be made for general purpose computing, and considering this, I think it is fast for its intended purpose. The Intel 13th Gen i5 does a good job. The 512 GB NVMe hard drive definitely helps with the speed. The bootup time was very good, and the shutdown speed is amazing. I didn’t play games on this laptop because it isn’t a gaming laptop, but I surfed the web, streamed movies, used office, and did some website design. And for these tasks, the Aspire AV15 did a great job. The backlit keyboard is very comfortable, and the keys have really good response. The keys are laid out with enough distance between them that it makes it easy for a two-finger typist like me. And the OceanGlass touchpad is one of the best touchpads I have ever used. It is so smooth; it is like smooth glass covered with a thin layer of oil. My fingers glide across it with no resistance. And lightly tapping the screen for an enter or select works with little force. And the touchpad also has a fingerprint reader built into it. The integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics IPS Display offers very clean, crisp imagery. It has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, and while it produces excellent viewing, it also does a good job at reducing glare. After a full day of using it, my eyes did not get tired from the display. Conclusion: The Acer Aspire AV15-53P-54MV Green Laptop is a really nice laptop. The specs are good, the performance is really good, and it has some nice features. If the environmental aspect is your focus, you can use this laptop knowing the impact on the earth and people have been greatly reduced. If it is not, you will enjoy this laptop for just about anything shy of gaming or heavy tasks like video editing. But if all of this isn’t enough, they included a nice laptop sleeve. It looks nice, fits the laptop very well, and protects the laptop when not in the computer bag. I highly recommend the Acer Aspire AV15-53P-54MV Green Laptop.

Thoughtful Eco Design Results in a Great Laptop

This Acer Aspire is a basic laptop that does many things well with a few surprises. The most notable feature is its Eco-friendly design and packaging. The laptop makes use of a paint free recycled plastic chassis. The model is embossed in a plastic case. There is just one decal on the bottom with the mode/serial # and other regulatory information required. The plastic chassis is 40% Post-Consumer Recycled plastics (PCR), the power adapter casing and keycaps are 50% PCR. The electronic PCB-board inside is as small as possible to reduce e-waste. The plastic chassis has a bit of welcome texture which makes a secure grip with even sweaty hands easy. My laptop is an attractive Cobblestone Grey with small dark gray and yellow specs throughout. It should look at home anywhere. The packaging is all paper based and can be recycled again. The inner partition can also be transformed into a reusable laptop stand in a few simple steps. The Touchpad is made of Ocean-bound plastic. It looks and works like most any touchpad. It’s a generous size and feels smooth like glass or metal. The touchpad is very responsive with a very good feel to it. The backlit keyboard is silent and has a solid feel. I especially like that Acer has added directional cursor keys and a numeric keypad to the right, which makes lots of numeric data entry so much easier. Spread sheet users will surely appreciate this. I don’t like many laptop keyboards, but this one is OK. I found no downside to it being green, only the obvious upside. Despite its light weight at 3.8 lbs. and use of PCR, the laptop feels very sturdy and well made with no flex in the chassis. The screen hinge is smooth and holds any position perfectly, as good as any available. The 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS matte screen has a peak brightness of 300nits. Ok for inside use, but the screen may be hard to see when near a window on a sunny day pr outside. The colors rendered well, and it was comfortable to stream videos. The Intel Iris Xe graphics provided liquid smooth video with no freezing or display issues at all. Contributing to the smooth video streaming is the Wi-Fi adapter supports Wi-Fi 6E which my router supports providing a solid and exceptionally fast connection. The Full HD (1920 x 1080) webcam works very well for video conferencing. I’m told by my peers that the picture quality was good and very smooth. Acer makes use of AI software to provide automatic framing, advanced background blur, and gaze correction. The Webcam does not support Windows Hello Facial Recognition for login. However, there is a fingerprint reader built into the touchpad for a biometric login using Windows Hello. This Vero has two microphones and uses AI Noise Reduction to actively suppress background noise for both ends of the conference call and is also compatible with external headphones and mics. The speakers are mounted on the bottom of the case and up front. The sound quality is fair, bass is thin, and it has a bit of hollow sound. Fortunately, there is a DIN headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.1 available for using headphones or better speakers for your listening pleasure. I found this laptop to be totally silent. I never heard the fan kick on. The Intel CPU is a current (as of October 2023) 13th gen i5 with 10 cores running at 1.3-GHz with a boost speed of 4.6-GHz. Performance is good for streaming, a Teams video conference, office productivity apps and web browsing. Editing very large videos and heavy gameplay is not its forte. If you need more than a half dozen apps at one time, you may find it starts to slow down a bit due to it having just 8GB of RAM. It’s not a terrible abrupt slowdown as memory has a 512GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD to swap to. But peak performance can be easily restored under load. Acer designed this laptop for easy upgrades and service. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, the bottom can be easily removed to upgrade the RAM to 16GB maximum. Battery life is excellent. I went through several charges now. This last one has a full 8-hour day of use and shows 50 minutes left for nearly 9-hours of run-time total. A little better than advertised. The 65-watt AC Adapter is much smaller and lighter than the typical laptop charger. It is more like a peripheral AC adapter than a laptop charger. I think it odd that Acer stuck with the round power plug instead of moving on to a USB-C charger which is more useful in that it could charge other devices, and one may have a USB-C Power Bank or would have better luck borrowing a USB-C charger than the round plug charger to fir this laptop. Included is an Acer Vero ECO 15.6-inch Protective Sleeve in gray to carry your Vero in. It has a full-length zipper pocket for the AC adapters, a mouse, etc. The green theme carries on as it is made from 100% Recycled Materials. Kermit once pined “it’s not easy being green”. Well Acer pulled off going green exceptionally well. This Acer Aspire Vero would make a good laptop for home, student use, or light office work. Add more RAM and it becomes useful to more people in the office. The only glaring shortfall is the thin audio. The audio in a laptop is never great, while it can be better than this, the audio is doable for Teams calls. With a headphone DIN port and Bluetooth 5.1, you have numerous audio options available to remedy this.

I received my Acer Aspire Vero 15 about 10 days. I have been looking for a laptop for my father for a couple months. Shockingly in his older age he has become environmentally conscious and a hardcore recycler. Of course there is no such thing yet as a truly environmentally friendly PC of any sort, this computer is a nice step in that direction. It uses 40% post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic that Acer claim reduces CO2 emissions by about a quarter. The touch pad is made of abandoned plastic waste. It’s power efficient, though not a super long lasting battery. I do love the look and feel of the recycled case. I like the included basic travel bag as well. So if you consider how environmentally friendly you computer is and are looking for an affordable laptop, this is definitely a model you’ll want to check out. Now as far as the actual computer and not taking any of that other stuff into consideration, I think this model is a solid value. The 15.6” FHD screen is nice. Its bright and vibrant and video and the games I tried play very smooth. It’s not bright enough to use outside on a sunny day, but otherwise excellent. The touch pad is very responsive. The keyboard is nice as well, the number pad is a little compressed but it’s a nice compromise to have the numbers on the side while keeping everything smaller and more portable. I like the feel of the keyboard, the feel of the F and J keys combined with the backlit keys make It easy to find your keys when using the laptop in dim light. The DDR5 RAM and SSD 512GB Drive both feel fast. The WiFi connectivity is excellent. I hooked up a 2nd monitor, my 4k gaming screen and it looked fantastic. I ran some, what I would consider mid level games. They ran well enough. Out of the Park Baseball runs ok and I think my dad will enjoy that one. I opened multiple browsers and lots of tabs and it handled that well. I don’t have much bad to say about this device. The speakers are ok at best. The battery life doesn’t seem great. That’s probably about it. Overall this is a nice functional laptop with good feel and look. If I wasn’t considering the eco friendly aspect I think I would give this laptop a solid 4 star review, especially considering the recent price drop. If something more Eco-Friendly is on your list of priorities it deserves all 5 stars. If I had a friend ask about a recommendation for a mid level laptop that is more Earth friendly, I would certainly recommend they check out the Aspire Vero, well done Acer.

Eco-friendly general laptop for regular tasks

In a world with increasingly more and more e-waste, a tech product that is focused on environmental friendliness and sustainability is a nice change of pace. Acer’s Vero line pushes this topic heavily. Currently, this is in the exterior of the product. The case is made of at least 30% recycled plastic, and the touchpad, which they refer to as “OceanGlass” is made from plastic waste. At first, this feels very different than a laptop you may be used to, but the plastic chassis actually feels very durable, and I personally LOVE the touchpad. It is extremely smooth to touch and very responsive. The plastic in the chassis is textured, but after I got used to it, which was quick, I actually appreciated it, since I felt as though I had a much firmer grip on the laptop, especially if moving while it was open. As part of the “Re” focus (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) effort (note in the picture the “E” and “R” keyboard keys that have green letters and the letters are backwards), Acer has put some environmental focus into the power usage of this laptop, although I don’t feel as pleased with this, as I’ll explain below. Here are my “Pros” for this laptop: • Feels rugged and durable, without being too heavy. The texture of the plastic makes it easier to hold. • I love the keyboard on this laptop. As I type this review, the keystrokes feel effortless, yet require enough pressure and travel to not be too responsive. They are also backlit (2 brightness levels) a clean backlighting, meaning a very smooth lighting under each key character. • Lots of ports, including a full-size HDMI, 4 USB 3.2 ports (2 type A, 2 type C), and a headphone jack. • A fingerprint reader, oddly placed on the top left corner of the touchpad. Unfortunately, this laptop has a few more “Cons” than I would like: • The webcam does not have a cover. You’ll have to resort to one of those little slide covers you can stick on the bezel, or a corner of a post-it note if this bothers you. • Which should not be a problem because the bezels on this laptop are rather wide, especially the top one. • I automatically remove one star because of the number pad on the keyboard. I don’t know what laptop makers are thinking, but in addition to the cramped keypad, they are actually rearranging the keys (see pictures). This is not just an Acer thing, but as someone who types faster with 10-key than alphabetic-key and works heavily in spreadsheets, this is incredibly annoying and I almost wish they wouldn’t bother and just use the extra space for some better speakers on the sides of the keyboard. I’m tempted to install a keymapper program or just use a USB number pad. Oh my goodness, the frustration I had when trying to enter a decimal number!!! I’m typing along and hitting what I think is the decimal, but it’s actually Enter, as the decimal key is under the 2 instead of the 3. • The power button is part of the keyboard, and placed directly above the Num Lock key. The Num Lock key should be the hyphen/minus-sign on a normal number pad, so when I would be typing too fast and forget, I would either turn off the Num Lock on accident, or worse, overshoot and hit the power button, putting the laptop to sleep in the middle of my work. • Speaking of speakers, these are far from the best. They are on the underside of the laptop near the front, so very little bass and a muffled sound if the laptop is not on a hard surface. Ok for spoken voice, but music or movies would be best with ear buds or a separate speaker. • The power cable is not USB-C, and actually uses a “barrel” style that is the smallest I’ve ever seen. Not sure if this is easily replaceable if it got lost or damaged, or if you would have to go directly to Acer. Also seems odd that they are using this style at all if the focus is on environmental impact. • Memory is soldered to the board. Really??? Sustainability should mean being able to do basic upgrades to extend the life of the laptop. Soldering to the board says we don’t care about “right-to-repair” or sustainability to me. See picture. This is severely limiting to this laptop as 8 GB of memory is now the new minimum, and with 5 Chrome tabs and Microsoft Word open, I was already at 75% of my memory utilization. Sad. Fortunately for the last “con” in my list, at least the M.2 NVME drive is upgradable. Opening the laptop requires undoing 11 screws, but is actually one of the easiest to open backplates I’ve ever dealt with. I did this a couple of times and not one little broken piece of plastic or a scratch on my tools. The M.2 module is in a thermal sleeve as opposed to an adhesive pad. While this may not be quite as effective, it makes it very easy to swap this out to quickly bump up the storage. I have to say, however, that the performance of this laptop was very laggy. It would take way too long for an app to open or a setting change to commit. I must admit, I am not a fan of Windows 11, no matter how much I tweak it. As I am not reviewing Windows in this review, I will not delve into the reasons, but I overwrote Windows 11 with Windows 10 (since the license key will work for both), and the performance dramatically improved. Even better is that the drivers were immediately recognized and installed. I had made a point to verify these downloads on Acer’s website before doing this, but I didn’t need a single one of them, and apps like the Vero software could still be installed from the website. As Windows 10 support will run out in 2025, this is not going to serve me the life of the laptop, but it works for now. The battery life for me was reasonable, even after working for a while, then closing the laptop and coming back the next day. I was getting about 6 hours of battery life using basic programs like office suite apps and a web browser. I was able to do some photo editing work, but some functions were a big strain for this laptop. The problem I had was with charging. On more than one occasion, but not repeatable on demand, the laptop stopped charging even though it was still plugged in, even though the cable had not been touch and was just resting on the same surface (no gravity effects pulling on the cable). It would do this 1-2 minutes after plugging it in and sometimes took multiple “plug, unplug, plug” attempts to get it to start charging again. This only seemed to be a problem if the battery level was under 50% and if plugged the cable into a surge protector. It did not occur at all when plugging it directly into an outlet. I knew this was not Windows because the laptop emits a beep from the board, not Windows, whenever it is connected or disconnected from power. I don’t know if this is something with the eco-friendly features or if there is a problem with the charging cable, but I don’t have this problem with anything else I plug into the surge protectors. Since I have only had this problem on a rare occasion and I can't repeat it on demand, I'm not sure if I'm missing something. For basic common computer uses, such as web browsing, email, office apps, and some very light gaming, this is a good, environmentally conscience laptop. It’s a joy to type on (provided you don’t rely on the number pad much, in which case, don’t buy this unless you plan to relearn the whole layout) and the touchpad is as smooth and responsive as it can be. It’s also very solid but light enough to take it with you, and it’s nice to see a decent amount of ports. I really enjoy just web browsing and general typing this laptop. There is no SD card reader, but this laptop is not going to cut it for serious photo or video editing, so I can understand excluding it. It’s a little pricey for the specs, but supporting global-sustainability causes unfortunately costs a bit more because it’s not the norm. Hopefully if more manufacturers take to Acer’s practices with their Vero line, that will help bring down the prices. In the meantime, you can have a decent laptop while supporting a good manufacturing practice.

Its an I5, so nots the best of the bunch but works good on the windows 11 home version. with the 2 thunderbolt 4 ports, easy to connect to external monitors if needed. The 8GB ram puts some juice into the I5. I wish the charging adapter was not proprietary and had a Type C charger. That was a miss. I think for the price, it is a good laptop to buy!

Acer Aspire Vero Laptop PC is a very lightweight and sleek machine. The Vero came preloaded with Windows Home 11, which is very significant. And then into a core i5 -1335u processor. It performs very well and gets the job done. It comes with a 512GB SSD of space that can easily be upgraded. The display is a 15.6 FHD IPS that looks amazing. It uses the Intel Iris graphics that will satisfy anyone from the movie streamer to the avid gamer. And with Acer's PurifiedView on the 1080p front webcam, you are ready for any video call with its background blur automatic framing and Eye contact. And Acer has gone green with the chassis and body made entirely of recycled plastic materials. That could be something that we all could be proud of. The battery life is 6 to 7 hours, which is cool, but keep the charger handy as if you're on it like I am. You will need it. I'd like to get more battery life for use with the power system of the Eco+ utility included. But it's a good package for any beginner or everyday user searching for a nicely built PC.

If you want a green PC it's great - I will say the the recycled material case is a bit different - I was asked to describe it and the best I could come up with are a rough card baord feel - That said it did seem to be very durable. I did not drop test it however did do some nominal housing flex - similar to what it will see in everyday life and could not tell any difference in this verves any other material As for set up and basic performance its window 11 and acts/reacts the same as any other PC - so no major changes to performance in standard application with it green features - I would think that they would have some impact on high system taxing application however this is not meant to be a high powered or gaming laptop so I did not try and push the limits. Basily I would say for most medium user's this would suffice for what you need on a day to day basis. The things I liked 1. it comes with a sleeve - this is a nice addition and expandable enough to carry the charger and possibly a small mouse. 2. I did like to overall feel and Acer app improvements - them seem to work really well and positive impact the video calls The thins I didn't like: 1 . The touch pad - it was every sensitive and at times tough to get it it to recognize multiple finger swipes. 2. The above was sometimes complicated by the fact that the fingerprint reader it in the corner of the touch pad - This sometime case a button click when trying to read a fingerprint. also really frocase you the use your left hand for the fingerprint - not a major problem but used to using my right hand for everything else Overall impression was very positive - the couple of distractors we just minot issues - if you want a green laptop i would say that this is a buy for you

If you're environmentally conscious this could be the perfect laptop for you. From energy consumption all the way to their packaging, Acer is doing what they can to reduce their carbon footprint. The components of this laptop are somewhat lacking in my opinion but they get the job done. With 8GB memory and 512GB SSD, these features are sort of middle of the road compared to what is available in other laptops. If you're using this laptop for photo or video editing, it does slow down a bit. The screen size is 15.6" which is too bulky for portability reasons but if you need the larger screen it does have beautiful detail. If the screen size was 13" I would love it. This laptop is made of mostly recycled materials. The track pad in particular stood out to me. It's made out of recycled plastics and I did not find any downside to this. The track pad is perfectly sensitive and reactive without a complaint. The packaging the laptop comes in is also made of recycled materials. I think more companies should move to using recyclable materials for their products and packaging. As far as energy consumption, Acer did a great job. The battery usage is customizable to what you want to do. There is Performance, Balanced, Eco and Eco +. If you need it to be fast and battery life doesn't matter, then go performance. If you're on a flight or need to preserve your battery life, go to Eco or Eco+. This laptop if perfect for someone who is in the market for a basic, no frills laptop and is environmentally conscious.

I'm going to start off by saying that the concept of building a laptop exterior with recycled material is awesome. The keyboard layout is just wide enough to fit a number pad on the side, and has a cute reverse letter on the r&e to indicate recycle. This laptop has all the necessary ports. It does not have the fastest processor but still very high in performance speed. Light and convenient, this laptop is an excellent carry on/ portable workstation. The 15.6 inch screen is clear and crisp and 1080p, however, not a touch screen. Bluetooth capable. It can connect to Bluetooth headphones or with a headphone jack. Battery life is decent but I am concerned about the charging port. It's a little loose and doesn't give me confidence when plugged in. There is also a carrying bag made of recycled material that compliments a laptop beautifully. The bag is appropriately cushioned and has a front zipper pouch to put the charge cord. Nothing too much to wow about other than the fact that it's made out of recycled material, but a decent laptop in its own right.
