Decided to replace my 15 year old desktop with this one. My use is primarily office products and internet browsing, but no gaming. This unit perfect for these tasks. Machine is much smaller and lighter than the unit it replaced. It is quiet with only the occasional sound of a small cooling fan. Hard drive is SSD so no noise here. Speed is wonderful from boot up to operation. Looks good. Be aware it does not have CD reader, but for the most part this is no longer necessary. My only issue with the unit is the keyboard and mouse that come with it. They are both noisy. Not a big deals as I just use another quieter keyboard and mouse I own. Hard drive decent size at 512GB. Has sufficient USB slots including card reader. So, in short, if not into heavy gaming, this unit is very very nice. Don't hesitate to buy. Why pay more? Watch for periodic sales, with best price normally around Black Friday.

I needed something affordable. Thought it might be slower being so inexpensive. I was wrong. It is very fast. The monitor is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I would buy this again! Also was able to set it up without help!

Fast great for home use exceptionally quiet. Price was great didn't have a dvd drive Best Buy has one for under 30 dollars.

Computer has been great. Geek squad transferred all data from very old computer to this new one.

This is the perfect computer for a home. It has everything you will need and more. Setup was easy and its very user friendly.

The computer I purchased is not as fast as my computer I had. But now I have Windows 11 and I am perfectly happy with my purchase. Setting up my new pc was perfectly seamless and fast. I appreciate the help from those at Best Buy. Everything went fast and efficient!

This product was not user friendly and had seemingly a mind of its own. I recommend you do your setup offline. Google and Microsoft help themselves during the setup. For example when adding the computer login details, the names I used were replaced with names of former pc's I used. Logging in was redirected and email accounts were also changed from my setup choices. This was frustration. Further more I purchased office 365 and the setup for that failed due to Microsoft adding without authorization an account from another user. I also noted that trying to remove things immediately removed them from all devices including the cloud without recovery options. I recommend you have the Geek squad do the setup to avoid these issues. Some of which are not reversable. An example is the loss of thousands of family pictures of our kids in school activities over the years. That was heart breaking. The device came with McAffee already preloaded or automatically added,,, what a mess that made. I tried to remove it from add/remove programs and failed. I get pop up from McAfee constantly all day during usage.

A reasonably priced home desktop. Unfortunately, the on/off button on the first one failed a little over two weeks of purchase. The replacement hasn't had that issue yet. That's why the rating is Average. Since these only come with a 14 day return policy you'll need to do your work to get the store to replace it on day 15 or 16. To BB's credit, the manager allowed a replacement even though he didn't have too. In that regard, the service was 5 star.

Ordered two of these for our new office space and they work great. About to order another one for my home office. Highly recommend - it's nice that it comes with the keyboard and mouse too!

It can happen at anytime, from a few minutes after start-up, to an hour or seconds... the internet goes blank, unable to connect to my Wi-Fi. So then my only option is to restart the Wi-Fi Network Adapter & it temporarily fixes the problem until it happens again. So frustrating.

I'll be honest: I went into Best Buy looking for something that wouldn't break the bank, but I was worried I'd end up with a machine that struggled to opena s single Chrome tab. After chatting with a Blue Shirt in the aisle, I took a chance on this Acer Aspire, and it has been a pleasnt surprise. Everyone focuses on the Celeron processor, but the real MVP here is the 512GB SSD. Most desktops at this price point give you a tiny 128GB. Also, this machines is incredibly silent. I have it sitting right on the desk and I genuinely have to check the power light to see if it's on. The design is suprisingly compact and doesn't clutter my desk. Plus, having the ports on the front is a lifesaver. I hate searching for the plugs for thum drives. If you're a student or non-tech worker who needs a reliable machine without spending 4 figures, this is it. Pros: Fast boot times, silent operation, great storage for the price Cons: Not meant for heavy video editing or high-end games

Great for students for personal use. Fast set up and easy to navigate.

This desktop works wonderfully well. It is smaller than ones I have had in the past. The setup was extremely easy, and so was installing needed applications. It is very fast.

I bought this for my father. It was easy to set up and he hasn't had any issues with it. A solid little machine that is great for light computer work.

A grass ruts machine with enough to power to do everything most people need. More SSD would be nice but if you use the cloud 512GB is enough. The size is small which is a advantage when desk space is limited. Also very quiet with having only one fan with that being on the CPU. The video driver is more than very good, with a good 24" or larger or even 2 monitors the display is crisp and easy on the eyes. The price is very good for a new machine and very easy to setup. If you are older like myself and fear getting an up to date machine this is the way to go.

Simple and easy setup. Unit is small in comparison to previous desktop models .

This is a basic computer which was very easy to set up and works great. I'm very satisfied with it.
